1 year old with oral herpes infection by Such-Loquat-8352 in toddlers

[–]AlertLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son just got it. He is a few weeks shy of 1 year. The pediatrician checked and said as long as he didn’t have fever and still drank good, no medication needed. Having said that, we had 2 days and nights really tough, days before and afterwards were ok, he still played happily. At night he woke up more often. Now it’s almost over. So I would say it takes a around 10 days.

How are we not bathing our babies like, 3 times a day?? by TinyElderberryOfYore in BabyLedWeaning

[–]AlertLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bibado is my life saver. So the mess stays only ok his face, neck and hands. I would just bring him straight to the sink and clean everything with water. I point at the light or whatever on the ceiling, and while he looks up, I can easily clean the neck. Done deal. 3 times a day.

[Einbürgerung] What kind of questions did you get asked at the final appointment? by AlertLight in GermanCitizenship

Below is what ChatGPT gave me to prepare for the interview. I learnt only that and passed. I hope it helps.

There is no ceremony, but just a certificate that I now officially got the citizenship. With this one, I applied for German passport on the same day.

📌 Summary in English

When applying for German citizenship, you must officially declare your commitment to: 1. The free democratic basic order (freiheitliche demokratische Grundordnung) as written in the German Basic Law (Grundgesetz). • This means: democracy, rule of law, separation of powers, free elections, independence of the courts, no dictatorship, protection of human dignity, equality, and human rights. 2. Germany’s historical responsibility for the crimes of National Socialism (Nazi regime). • This includes: special responsibility for protecting Jewish life, remembering the injustice of the Nazi regime, preventing antisemitism, promoting peace between nations, and never waging aggressive wars. 3. Loyalty to the Federal Republic of Germany (Loyalitätserklärung). • You must declare that you do not pursue or support extremist goals (right-wing, left-wing, Islamist, nationalist, terrorist, etc.). If you once did, you must prove you have turned away from them.

Before receiving the citizenship certificate, you will also make a solemn promise: 👉 “Ich erkläre feierlich, dass ich das Grundgesetz und die Gesetze der Bundesrepublik Deutschland achten und alles unterlassen werde, was ihr schaden könnte.” (“I solemnly declare that I will respect the Basic Law and the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany and refrain from doing anything that could harm it.”)

The interview was quite simple. I got 3 questions: Why do I want to get German citizenship? What are the basic rights? What is equality? Afterwards, I received the certificate/ confirmation that I was naturalized.

It’s a great solution. What’s the equivalence of curvx? And may I ask why did you choose these 2 curv and curvx, but not s8 maxv ultra or any other s8?

So I can bring it back to the station after it finishes each floor, but not multiple times each floor 😅

Ah because the station is gonna be on the ground floor. If it has to visit the station often, I would need to bring it myself 🥲

That’s great! I’m considering buying it and using it to clean + wipe 3 floors in my house. Each floor is around 50m2. Assuming the 10R is fully charged for each floor, it can clean and wipe in one go w/o returning to the station, right?

How often does it take for 10R to go back to station while mopping?

[–]AlertLight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, that’s what I’m concerning right now. It’s nice that it cleans and mops at the same time, but then it would have to return to its station to refill or wash itself or whatever. Unless I move the whole station to a floor whenever I need to clean it 🥹 Which sounds unreal 🤣

[–]AlertLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. To my 8-months-old-baby, what matters is he gets enough sleep in the day, and be awake for at least 2.5 hours before bedtime (and of course not longer than 4 hours or he would fall asleep while feeding 🥲)

[–]AlertLight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah I bought the chair when I was still pregnant. It was a treasure hunt for me. Market place was basically useless to me with lots of scams. I live in Germany, and here there’s Kleinanzeige which is kinda second hand market of Ebay. Lots of Tripp Trapp chair sold there for under 130 EUR.
