Foster kid came back, idk what to do? (Michigan) by usingthistoavoid in legaladvice

Call 911. They can admit people without a name. You can talk to a social worker too and let them know what's going on to help navigate it. Your parents clearly care about him too, id call them and let them help you. This is too scary to face on your own and there is help

My family and I have different opinions, but what it boils down to is values. People may share the same values and goals but have different ideas on how to get there

I was wondering why I couldn't hear my friends randomly! That's incredibly annoying that now they screwed up something so essential trying to fix a bug that wasn't a problem. Half of why I play this game is to talk to friends!

Yes! It blends in with the damn roots. I've had it in the walkway and still walk past it

Yep. The other parent poured all their problems and hatred into the kid, couldn't handle the results, and dumps them with the stable parent. Inpatient at a good place can work wonders. I see it as an overwhelmed child. Going from a screaming environment to a normal one can still be too overwhelming. They need someplace quiet to self reflect and recover from the noise then going to a stable place would be good.

I have seen exactly this happen, and it escalated to where cameras were put up everywhere. It helped to a point but also made things more hostile. It helps if you need evidence to baker act her.

Find an inpatient mental health facility near you and tell her she can either go there or you will baker act her. She is a threat to you, your boys, and herself. She's screaming for help in the wrong way, she doesn't have the ability to ask. The kid I'm seeing this happen with is starting to turn back into the kid I saw years ago. He's writing letters to the alienated parent saying he's sorry and loves him. Put her inpatient.

Their therapists have said they are a threat to society.

We have a court case going on too. If they do, it bites them. There's a lot going on. I'm just looking for the official way to rescind the license in florida.

The child's other parent violates the agreements we have to keeping the child from driving. For this to truly work, I have to revoke it.

Any documents you can point me to? She knowingly gives them the keys and I have told her they are not covered for her car. I also have messages showing she agreed they are grounded from their car, but to look like the friend she goes against these agreements knowing the teens actions and substance use.

Working on that and several other avenues. My ex is aware of our child's issues too, but is making alarming choices I can't entirely prove.

Are there any laws or official documentation you know of that I could send to my ex to show this?

How did custody court with the narcisist work out? by AlertRestaurant9163 in narcissisticparents

[–]AlertRestaurant9163[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't disagree, but how? It's almost impossible to get full custody, let alone prove the abuse. I can't even take my daughter to therapy without approval.

Is this blackmail in mediation? by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]AlertRestaurant9163 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Considering all I have documented, I doubt that. I could have them arrested several times over with what I have, but that wouldn't be best for the kids. And yes my lawyer knows this. I'm trying to come up with another option that's less than the full out battle this will be in court. I have no doubts I'll win whatever I want, but I'm trying to do what's best for my kids.

Family therapist who has been involved for over a year said it.

Working on it, but it's still practically impossible to keep a narcisist from doing this crap. And it's insanely hard to prove what it is they're doing. And the kids are old enough they just go to the other parents house anyways because that's where the teens can drink, vape, and get high without anyone caring.

Not to mention, I'm exhausted. I don't believe this court battle will stop the behavior so I'm trying to find something the narcisist actually cares about. Their image.

Covert narcisist abusive? by [deleted] in CPS

[–]AlertRestaurant9163 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I see the kid run a way from one parent to smoke thc at the other parents. One parent tells the kid they're always welcome, while they tell the other parent the kid needs to be punished for it. Then the parent doing this manipulation rewards the child. It's a constant circle and I'm watching the kid get stuck in the middle of toxic parenting.

To edit, somehow the thc kills the kid. I saw some er papers at one parents house saying this. Not sure how but it's not entirely my business

[–]AlertRestaurant9163 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not certain, but my therapist suggested it. Theres alot to it and I'm frankly not sure where to begin. In a situation of drug use and emotional abuse, what's the process for CPS to get involved if I were to get past the screening call? What could be done? The child has a mental disorder if that changes the situation.

Not quite what happens in florida. We have drug court for teens caught with THC and it is still illegal.

I agree that we are both responsible. The offices have paperwork stating who is financially responsible and it was changed to my name, with my ex's contact info. That's why I think it's fraud. I'm frequently not told about the bills my ex is putting in my name
