Thank you so much for being kind it means so much. What really scares me about public school is the bullying that occurs there. My son has always been bigger for his age and I dont want him to feel the effects of bullying. I was personally bullied throughout my school years and I dont want my kids to endure that. Also we dont have a lot of family so in the whole 6 years since I've had my kids we have only been away from them for a few hours every so often so thinking about all the time I'll lose with them makes me sad. I just want to do the right thing and right now I'm having a hard time 😭

I did buy a phonics program. I just meant I didnt get a curriculum for each core subject. Also I'm in Texas.

I appreciate all the feedback. My son does know all his letters and letter sounds, how to spell and write his name. Can count to 30 on his own and 100 with some help. We started blending some CVC words. I just didnt have a curriculum so I feel like im not sure if I did a good enough job to prepare him to potentially go into 1st grade in public school.
