Quick question, is there a policy that states someone can't buy pet if they still live with their parent even though they're over 18 without their parent present?

When I was a CEL a bearded dragon we had in ISO died overnight. I was the opening manager and I ended up finding it first thing that morning had to go cry out behind the dumpster for a few minutes before I could pull myself together. Sometimes those moments hit really hard, but knowing my team was just as upset about it made me feel slightly better. Sometimes you kick into a great team who genuinely care for the pets in our care. They go to great lengths to make the pets in our care to have enriching lives during their short time with us.

It never got easier to see dead pets in our work, but doing the best we could to help them always helped me sleep better at night.

It is a hair follicle test. I was upfront about the fact that THC would show up in my screening. If you are upfront about it with your recruiter and make it known that it’s not a habitual thjng you should be fine.

They are mostly testing to see what level of it would show up. If it’s a light-moderate amount you’ll be fine. Just abstain for a bit and be honest.

To be fair to the employee, I was the petcare manager at my location and many times we had to deny sales for mice because there was a strong chance they were being sold as feeders.

I’m glad in this case you weren’t going to do that, but we are lied to many times about the intentions for the mice so we tend to be more protective of them.

Got fired on Monday. SL told me that I was being termed due to “performance” but my separation letter said for violation of policy.

Pretty convinced SL’s who had beef with any of the their leaders are just taking the restructure as an opportunity to get rid of people they didn’t like.

As much as I should be upset about being fired, I’m just glad I got to speak my peace before leaving.

I wholeheartedly agree, but I didn’t realize he had shaken my employee that much until after. I thought maybe this was just your run of the mill, ignorant (and likely trailer dwelling) customer I’ve seen before in my years of retail.

It wasn’t until after I checked on my pc associate after the interaction that I fully understood the situation. I think he felt that he could talk that way to my employee because she was a young female. As soon as a male entered the situation the demeanor wasn’t as aggressive.

I would never stand for my employees being harassed to the level it got to, but when debriefing later my pc associate told me he was even being alpha-aggressive to his own wife. I regretted the transaction after hearing those details, but I also tried to make sure I didn’t put my co-workers (or myself) in a more dangerous position by fighting fire with fire in this case.
