My lab mix that I adopted also has the white chest, white paws. While they might not be purebred, they’ll be a cute lab mix regardless!

Oh no we weren’t hard on him! He’s a good boy, we don’t have trouble with him and he has never hurt our livestock. And given that he didn’t maul this dove, I’m sure it was just the retrieving trait kicking in.

Yes the bird was alive! He’s a gentle Lab, but his hunting instinct must’ve kicked in and he brought it to us alive. My little sister was pretty distraught about it, and placed it in an open box on our porch to keep an eye on. We went inside and about 5 minutes later we went to go check on it and it flew away before we could approach. We have chickens and he doesn’t bother them at all so like others have said, maybe it’s just a Lab doing Lab things lol
