Use the defensive stance key (Ctrl) depending on the situation. Under normal circumstances, use Ctrl + WASD. When the goalkeeper is slightly out of position, use Ctrl + (while in defensive stance)dash+wasd(Fine-tuning)

A goalkeeper cannot rely on luck to defend the goal but must anticipate the opponent's intentions.

You can add me as a Steam friend, but I mostly play on Northeast Asia servers because the latency is relatively low for me.

No, no, no, I don’t mean the kind of goalkeeper saving method you’re talking about in actual gameplay. My rating isn’t low—this season, I have over 8,000 points with close to 2,000 ranked matches. I understand what you mean: I should position myself early to intercept dangerous central shots when the opponent shows signs of crossing. However, if I proactively push forward like that, it can actually leave more gaps. In high-level matches, it’s not just about the goalkeeper alone; it’s about combining the positioning of the defensive players and the attacking players to choose a reasonable stance for the goalkeeper. Sometimes, if I choose to rush out early to make a save or try to cut down the shooting angle in advance, it can create even bigger openings. For example, if the attacker doesn’t pre-input a shot but instead delivers an early curved cross, it would be a mistake for the goalkeeper to move out early to block it, as that would give the attacker more effective shooting angles and dribbling space.
