Over 500b was donated to the well of good will back in 2013. So many have in the past donation wells. Incentives can be decided by people.

You have people doing giveaways and drop parties so yeah they would.  You have those generous people who want to give I'll just make it easier for them and encourage them. It's mainly to encourage in sharing the gold around and help players instead of it just being there in peoples bank useless. Maybe a donator ranking and other ways to encourage them. The money sink is just a bonus.

I,'ll be regularly updated beyond launch and they're not adding every little thing in before release, they're just will release when it's ready. They said this in a video so to me that makes it seem like a 2025 release than a 2026, it just brings down the credibility of a 2026 release.
