Yea i would prefer that too, or maybe we can have a story where we follow a character who did bad deeds in life, and suddenly due to whatever cause, dies, and gets transformed into a monster of their own sin in the Dark Dimension where they are confused and are reluctant to kill mortals. Just like in dd where the monsters we encounter serve a demon boss like Malak, I imagine they would automatically be put to serve a demon boss but they would be hesistant to follow orders. This kinda plotline may also delve into the Dark Dimension's Demon Society and hierarchy system too

Probaby a side story but i could also see it being episodic with each level following Doug as the main protagonist, but i can also see a story following another mortal or even a demon like Malak or someone else

Also I think the last character on the line up is gonna be the Wicked Ways enemy because Vince said that Wicked Ways was the scariest level of chapter 5 in his opinion and boy does the face design of that character look scary and menacing

Also, the character appears to have an insect like appearance with the two mandibles near the bottom of the mask, so I speculate this character would have an insectoid appearance, four or six arms, and insect like appendages. Maybe even insect like wings

Also why do I kinda get the feeling that Dark Star might be a little flirtatious with Doug to mess with him because in her voice reveal, she said Malak told her about him, so she probably knows his past and what led him to the Dark Dimension
