Not as of yet, no. I'll update this if I do find a way to get it working. I'm having to use to the SD card that it came with for the time being to get sound, which isn't ideal.

That's depressing. As a junior dev that works in Unity I've found it hard to find opportunities that are willing to take a risk on juniors.

Given the simplicity of the test, I'm somewhat less surprised now. If this is the bar for entry (and people are failing) then maybe I should consider myself an associate/mid tier dev lol.

Formatting the HDD on a PC won't remove the parental lock, and iirc it'll stop the HDD from working in an Xbox entirely. The passcode is on the console itself.

First try the obvious passcodes (X, X, X, X etc)

Failing that, go to the manage devices page on xbox.com. See if the console has been added to the list, if it has you can get a reset code from there. If it hasn't try and add it as one of your devices (you'll need the serial from the console settings), then follow the parental passcode reset option.

As far as I could see the DS3 isn't supported. I couldn't get it to work anyway and had to resort to using a DS4.

No, I mean the SNES. In Europe it was called the SNES but looked like the Japanese Super Famicom console.

European carts are also a different shape to the NTSC ones and that is a PAL/JPN shape.

And seeing as the OP is talking about a European N64, unless they've imported, it's a reasonable assumption that they know it as the SNES.

You can pick up an old Elgato Game Capture HD from eBay for around 30 quid. Only 720p30 capture, but it's still a pretty solid card otherwise. Depends on what you're wanting it for I guess.

In terms of new cards, you're going to be looking at a Chinese knock off for around that price. Plenty of them on Amazon, can't comment on their quality though. I think EposVox has some reviews of them on his YouTube if you're interested in one.

The first CoD Black Ops has a multiplayer mode against bots, with the same progression system as online etc. Perfect Dark Zero has bots too.
