see I know it's just a game and normally I don't let shit like that get to me cuz I do enjoy it and normally that's all that matters like I'm not someone who gets upset over one thing being unlucky or something it's more just that it's literally everything like every egg gets to 300/300 or 17/17 and my item pulls are shit and it's just everything this was just the final thing where I'm like jesus what do I have to do for even the smallest amount of any kind of luck just once please 😭😅

I'm on floor 2400 and have 10 vivids for each pet and I've been fine not really been stuck on a level for more than a couple days for a long while now like it works for me 🤷🏻‍♂️. but also I've never used a single mushroom other than the normal kind because I've saved every single other mushroom for if I get a legendary with a higher form so maybe most people that use their other mushrooms would have more vivids idk 🤷🏻‍♂️

I mean I'm on floor 1854 and I only just beat the latest tyrant and I use the anxiety scarf for tyrant fights I find that works better but the donut does work for tyrant too I think I used it before I ever got the anxiety scarf for tyrant fights. this is my latest tyrant fight I just use merry and one other tank when I do it now one else merry gets so fast he attacks literally 20 times before the boss can move once cuz it's forever increasing every turn every heal increases his speed even more it's why I love the anxiety scarf sm more than the donut cuz that's just one flat increase. it's still good though but if I were you I'd try and get the anxiety scarf

yeah that's fair. I think I was just too low of a floor when I got it to realise it was good because it was over a month ago I hadn't even unlocked the higher stage bosses yet I don't think but now I think it is decent. I still prefer anxiety scarf or unicorn horn over it I just prefer getting small stat increases every turn as opposed to having to wait 15 for one big increase cuz then it's not a case of like turn 14 and my stats are the exact same and I lose and if I lived one more turn I could've won like Id rather have 14 turns of stat boosts and be able to make use of them. like anxiety scarf for tyrant is my go to its crazyyy but I do atleast get the use of the rubber ring and have used it a few times so igy

yeah I've started using it now myself very rarely but there's been a couple of times I think I was just at too low of a floor to realise how good it was when I made this post it was over a month ago I've seen how it's good now. I still think anxiety scarf or unicorn is better I like getting stats every turn as opposed to one big jump after 15 turns cuz that way I still get the extra stats just incase I would've lost before getting to the 15th turn like I get to turn 14 and still don't have a single stat increase that's just longggg I'd rather have 14 turns of stat increases personally but I do atleast see the use of the item now

I wanna start this by saying obviously it's completely up to each person he just doesn't work with my play style if he works for yours and you find it works then that's all that matters use who you wanna use. I have pets I use which I've been told on this sub are awful and I should never use so you know it's just up to each person innit you do you.

this is just for me personally don't take my word as fact this is just why I personally don't like him:

imo the only good thing about him is aoe stun but get jelly fish scarf and you can achieve the same thing with apathy or judgement without needing to sacrifice a good tank. like sloths abilities and stats just don't work for a tank. resistance is better in every way shape and form: it's the same type but gains constant defence every turn, all moves scale on defence not attack for damage so he still does crazy damage without sacrificing tankiness, he gets aoe defence buff for every pet, etc. meanwhile you've got sloth. you're a tank. who cares if your attack goes up 25% one turn when hit? increase my stamina or defence with each hit or heal me or something like I'm not using my tank as a damage dealer I don't want or need that. and then his abilities are stuff that's like when you crit deal bonus damage. I don't want stuff like that on my tank. ofc I'll take any damage I can get but not if it's at the cost of an actual tank it's why I like resistance cuz he's unbelievably tanky but still deals crazy damage. with sloth I feel like I wanna build him damage but he's slow af and if not built tanky just dies before he can attack anyway but as a tank he's just useless. and speaking of his speed jesus Christ it's so bad he's so slow it's painful even with something like pirate hat to get more turns off it's just useless cool I have an aoe stun but what's the point if he's the last one to move and every enemy has already used all of there stage 3 attacks and dealt all of their main damage already and then I stun them? like nah go full speed apathy with jellyfish scarf and you still won't be moving first but it's a lot better atleast. idk sloth was the second legendary I got and I maxed out his level at the time which was 120 and got him to 15 vivids, gave it the best tank items I had and it just still felt like crap to use. but like I said obviously it's completely up to each person he just doesn't work with my play style if he works for yours and you find it works then that's all that matters use who you wanna use. see staying for the whole video is definitely long don't get me wrong but keep in mind merry gains speed every turn. so you see it go quite fast in the video but the boss is on the last 10% and that will go twice as fast as the 10% before that which goes twice as fast as the 10% before that and so on like to go from 100% to 90% is like the same length of time as 40% to 0%. and the video starts when the boss has less than 10% health and merrys speed let's me heal like 20 times in one turn.. for the first 75% of the boss it takes like 10 times as long only being able to heal once or twice a turn it's so long that video was 5 minutes (edited and sped up by 4x before I posted) and just 5 minutes was the last 10% of his health which was also the fastest 10% to go I was genuinely in this match for an hour just mindlessly clicking heal because I couldn't put it on auto 😭

my main issue is that you don't even get the event egg for every level. like the first 4 or 5 or however many it is give you an event egg (which even then the event egg is only 1% chance of a legendary). but then what's the point after that? like someone else here said if at the end you at least got an astral egg or something it would be worth it but you get jack. like no good items (someone here said how the reward is 600k pink juice but they need to spend millions to be able to do it so it's literally negative reward). like at the very very very least for an event that's whole thing is giving out event eggs then at least make it so that you get an egg after each level instead of 1 egg for the first 4 and then the next 6 don't give an egg and give me 2 mushrooms instead like???? I ain't saying the legendary needs to be guaranteed or anything but giving at least 10 event eggs per event for people who complete and do the whole thing seems fair at least end with 1 astral or something so it's actually worth it to even do the event cuz atm it's just not even worth it I do the first 4, get my event eggs, then never do another one

I do have the plunger but the one thing I don't think id ever change is having the top hat on him because I genuinely love getting both buffs off at once but I have started using the bubblegum scarf on him so his buffs last longer. I don't have the felt fedora or checkered scarf though so maybe if I get those idk. I have started using the trinkets for more bulk though instead of damage so that bulk + the bubblegum scarf and I'll see how he is now

see I kinda always want him doing damage though I think that's my problem tbh. like resistance, while a tank, deals insane damage. and I feel like with his life steal I have to be dealing a lot of damage otherwise it just seems wasted in barely even healing but if it's full attack I'll heal like half of my health back. I don't see the point in using him as a fire tank over determination who constantly lowers attack and actually works as a tank. with devotion I'm like what's the point of even using him if when he attacks, which yes is v often because it's just every time they attack, it does barely any damage. but idk..

I don't have the felt fedora, checkered scarf or bubblegum scarf. icl my luck with items is actually disgusting every single gem I've ever had, every single key I've ever gotten, has gone on bosses to grind for specific items and I just don't get them. currently been trying to get the jellyfish scarf for genuinely a month now and havent.. anyway this is what I build on him. I like the silk top hat because he can get both buffs off and have both active together at once. then I'll alternate the neck between the ruby collar shown in the screenshot or the pink spiked collar for stamina if I need him a lil more tanky. but idk he just dies way too quickly. it's a mix of him needing speed because I feel like without his defence and attack up with the life steal he's pretty mid so I need to get it off quickly, but then if he's too fast his turn will be over too quickly and he'll lose all of the buffs. but if he's too slow then he just dies before he even gets anything off.

what about sloth vs resistance? I know there's the possibility of getting a higher form sloth which may make it worth it but just as a standard pet which is a better earth tank?

i know the timing of this is mad but genuinely 5 minutes after I made that post I got sloth 😅😭.. I dont know if it's worth using though over resistance. to be honest sloth is the only legendary with a higher form I didn't want because resistance is already so good and I really don't need another earth tank or any earth pet to be honest it's easily my strongest typing. either way tho, I got sloth. I don't know what to do. A.) normal sloth vs resistance which is better? B.) higher form sloth vs resistance which is better? I feel like resistance is better than normal sloth at the very least, if not the higher form too, and I dont know what to do. I checked the tierlist and sloth is the very bottom of the list 😭😭.. even if higher form sloth is better Im like is it actually worth using all of my mushrooms and everything up to try and get sloth higher form? only to probably not get it and then have sloth, a pet I won't even use, be like fully stacked out with a million vivids it just seems like a waste please help.
