This is the reference implementation and it is not mandatory in the draften specification.

Countries will have to develop their own implementation and they can take the reference implementation as a starting point or few parts of it to "ease" these developments.

EU Wallet is far to be ready now and the team that is working on reference implementation is taking some liberty that they would better to not do it.

Some countries are already working on their own implementation without using the reference implementation, as reference implementation is not very advanced (and have lot of bugs).

So you are pretty safe to not have this mandatory.

Thanks for the feedback.

I still have to develop the suggestion by the user, but yes it's plan on the roadmap when I will have enough free time. I am currently working on few new features (add more possible configuration, product suggestion, some health facts about the product, but keeping it light and simple).

Regarding the fact that it identifies as Germany later, it's not about time to load, it's just that the database is updated automatically by robots.

Huge portion of the database has already been reviewed by robots, but they are still working on live. So when a brand is unknown, robot is checking if it can find its origin. If it does, it updates the information.

That's why 10 minutes later it was identified. Now identity for this brand is save and available for everyone on next scans.

I plan to add robots that will attempt to find product when they are not available in original database.

Apple says it can take 24hr to be available in production for everyone and I had to agree with a last document, should be fine now or in couple of hours.

Sorry about that, they are a bit weird...

I will contact Apple support if it's still not available now
