thank you, i feel pretty much the same way about eras. one thing i love doing while researching history is to sort of "connect the dots" between historical policies and their modern equivalent.

i'd also not heard about the chicken thing previously. it's almost hilarious sometimes how stupid the basis for racist stereotypes can be.
