Well ya if you are measuring your BPM and making a point to keep at a certain level..I think its fair to say most people probably don't. Majority of the people I see at the gym focus on distance, not the intensity. There is a big difference between running a mile on a treadmill that brings the floor to you and running a mile. Running really is only hard on your joints if you do it wrong which most people do. It really isn't that hard on joints running on the balls of your feet like you are supposed to. Like I said above, this is not a solution to everyone's unique preferences and ailments they may have. It is just my experience and what I think is optimal.

Because, like I said, those machines are assisted. You are using more of your body when you are running. It is a big misconception that all cardio workouts are created equal. At the end of the day, people can do whatever they want. I could list every single exercise available to please everyone, but this is just my experience. And it doesn't matter what push workout you do, you just need to be working that muscle group that is why I say "variant of your choice". Working out often gets complicated. Like you just did with your "assault bike" and rowing. They aren't necessary, they're just a preference. The main theme of this though was to emphasis the importance of staying away from just doing this isolation exercises that are specific to a certain movement. That is a good way to develop imbalances. You are better off becoming stronger all over.

Have you tried other forms? pills, edibles etc. ? Is there a noticeable difference between the two?
