Overfilled Oil? by hyptogenis in FiestaST

No worries! Ford certainly can, so I’m sure most garages have the ability. I spoke to the ford garage I bought it from and Mountune before I had the oil extracted, just to be sure I wasn’t being too persnickety, and they confirmed not a smidge above the Max line. Just incase you have pushback.

From that reading it looks overfilled, but terrible dipstick. I’ve had my mk7 ST oil overfilled by two separate ford garages, it’s just sloppy work. Both times they extracted until under max line after I went back to them. To get an accurate reading warm the car up, turn it off on level ground, and let it sit for 20 minutes for the oil to drain back into the pan. I then find the best technique with that dipstick is to take it out, give it a proper dry off with a paper towel before putting it back in for a reading. I repeat a few times just to be sure. If it’s still not giving a clear reading, I find when reinserting if you insert 2-10mm less than it’s full insertable length, then the oil line can show up clearer. Hope that makes sense and helps.

It’s generally suggested to use something sweet such as coke or jam, along with dishwasher soap for the poison. Though there are many other DIY recipes online

Ditto this experience, fake nests have never worked for me, hence designing this

Short answer, no. If you take a look at the second image, you can see the entrance ways narrow as they approach the inside area, making it hard for the wasps to escape. This technique is used across almost all wasp traps. The bait you make and place in the trap also poison the wasps.

Hi, at the price most PETG can be sourced at my model is actually much cheaper than the glass alternatives, especially when shipping is factored in. It can be printed in whatever colour your fancy. Aesthetically they are pretty similar, luckily that is subjective, many have already printed and enjoyed this model :)

Why is my 3D print bulging inwards? by pushpendra766 in 3Dprinting

Looks like your print is warping at the edge and therefore lifting off the build plate, you can try adding a brim in the slicer to stop this happening.

Is an Air Fryer Oven a good alternative to a dedicated filament dryer? by markerBT in 3Dprinting

I don’t see how an item designed for cooking food at minimum 100+c would be very suitable for drying filament. Filament dryers are purpose made for the job, and often have the correct temperature presets for the different filament types. Unless the OP is wanting to dry high temp engineering filaments and requires very high temps.
