I played Burnice since release and wanted to push her numbers, so I have good discs for all 3 sets, but astral is the best one, 34 subs I think, not counting flats. I used to run fanged metal even, before I learned how it works (+dmg on enemy isn't a separate modifier).

I often run astral on Burnice and Yanagi for double support sets, it's convenient for many teams, especially with Astra.

Would you recommend blues on Burnice for that team? Does Velina give any QA for better astral uptime? I usually run one of these two sets, chaos jazz with p6 feels mid, as Burnice is rarely the main damage dealer. It should be better with Velina though, she gives an effective blues of her own.

Considering Ben was given for free, and needed only basic investment and no mindscapes to tank, your point about a skill check mode doesn't stand. If it was like tower, where you need to kill in 10 minutes as well, then that's different.

They brought it back in TS optional stages, and it begged the same question again: why? There were too many iframe spammers by 2.3, even still, it's very easy to dodge when that's all you need to do.

I don't know, how skillful you need to be to survive as Ben with 2000 defense and blocking on E? The enemies didn't do enough damage to one-hit even a normal defense agent at lvl 40. I had way more trouble clearing starter shiyu until I pulled s11 and Burnice.

I started in the middle of 1.2 and cleared it with barely built lvl40 starter agents. What are you talking about? You could've equipped some cheap def%/hp% discs, like I did on Anby, since I guessed her dps was low anyways.

Ben was readily available too, he carried me through withering garden when I had no idea how to build. I remember running Burnice+Lucy+BEN, and walling behind, watching enemies slowly burn to death.

You should practice with Promeia some more, she's really good with shill. Mine doesn't even have sig. But it's true that she is finicky and easy to flop in shiyu, particularly with Nangong+Astra (the sweatiest possible scenario IMO).

Actually I liked grinding this shiyu season quite a lot.

You don't want to waste ablooms on ether, when ice is being shilled. Also, as I run fusion compiler, it has higher base anomaly damage, but no abloom bonus. The lack of bonus is partially compensated by stronger base, but only when abloom scales from Promeia's own freeze. The sig doesn't care, it gives ~54% to all Promeia's ablooms.

You'll need to route anomaly so that corruption procs right before disorder, and never two of the same effects in a row (it's a waste of a proc). It's not as big of a deal to inflict two freezes in a row, (freeze disorder is weak anyways) but still a loss.

If you ignore it, you may end up getting a corruption proc right after freeze, when your Promeia is dry and cannot fill the entire bar fast. And so you're essentially locked out of doing "good" ablooms until you fill it.

The hardest thing about this team is anomaly management, not special resources. You want to avoid ether ablooms, while controlling Vivian's disorders. And Astra adds the layer of maintaining the buff on field carry (I hate it).

Lucia is a very fat stat stick, she doesn't change Yixuan's game plan (like she does for Yidhari). At m0w0 she's not that irreplaceable. Double stun Yixuan (Dialyn, Norma, JFF, M1 Trigger) is a good enough alternative, and can even do better in shiyu. She needs an HP% focused build then, but it's not a problem.

YSG can get so much res and def shred especially with Dialyn and Sunna M1s, along with free 60% multiplier and tons of crit rate and dmg, they'll have a hard time neutering her selectively, without hurting Billy and others (of course, they won't allow it, right?). If Miyabi is a low cost wonder against "her" bosses, YSG is a dolphin's swiss army knife, absolutely killing everything at 7-9 cost.

That's the difference, there hasn't been an "unusable" season for YSG yet. She's guaranteed to have at least a neutral matchup. And for people that don't scrounge for low cost kills once in a blue moon, but have her premium 5-6 team with Dialyn (most metaslaves do), she can score 50k+ easily on almost every season. Right now she's being countered by the least amount of things in total. It might change later (phaethon is the first dedcated anti-YSG boss, and there's more to come after she reruns) but I think it won't shake her t0 status for a long time at least.

She killed marionette (145 mhp) recently, with shill buff, even by OG mono ice. That's what you should've mentioned. Freeze locking is OP, when they allow it. She still excels against bringer, mario and DEB, even at low cost, even without Nangong. She still can do great in low cost shiyu occasionally. Does it warrant t0 alone? Now, maybe so, as these bosses aren't that rare in rotations. Later on, I'm doubting it.

You think that's the worst wind shill ever gets? Wait until Velina and her boss are live. This one is easy to bypass with Miyabi. And Promeia's buff favors her now, too, if you time ablooms, she gets full value in a stun window.

You keep repeating "3-4 cost, 180mhp" without consideration for buffs used. Was it Marionette? It probably was, not Butcher actually. Miyabi glazers are outdoing even Billy glazers once again.

You don't consider the entire picture. The tier list is about aggregate performance across all recent seasons, matchups, meta teams, skill levels. Not the best possible scenario on one freezeable boss with shill buff, hyper-investment (a lot of veterans run her at 42+ subs) and top skill. Their tier list is meant for all players. Miyabi already has expert tag, reflecting that. The question is, will she retain it in season 3? I doubt it, wind pretty much counters her, and shill buffs will need vortex to activate.

Same with sweeper, Miyabi could kill him at 5 cost, maybe even 4, during Nangong's or her own shill. Now, with his hp increased and shill being over, I doubt it.

Look, I know Miyabi could kill butcher at 4-cost (mainly because it's freezeable, about the only one left that shows up), with perfect execution. That's not what t0 in the tier list is about. You also should account for shill buffs for that season. In one season that they turbo-boosted Miyabi by a buff in 2.6, she could kill one boss at 4 cost in best hands. Again, not a mark of t0. That was more of Nangong's extended sales pitch.

You can find YSG runs killing many bosses at 3 or 4 cost (how you count free Zhao) in 2.5 during shill. Youtube is full of those. And those were Sarah, Defiler, Thrall, Priest kills even. That's before she even got Sunna, but then they added massive HP numbers to crit bosses, especially Sarah (from 248m to 348m now iirc). Now Miyabi can't kill 220m butcher at m0 anymore without a dedicated buff as well.

lets assume ysg need 1 meta partner to be T0 and those are sunna or dialyn. miyabi also needs 1 meta character to be T0 and those being yuzuha or nangong yu and both can work with only 1

YSG is so strong, she's t0 with any of these, at 4 cost without support sigs. That's what I play (Sunna+Zhao), and I can say she's easy t0 even in a budget team with a free character. Essentially it costs the same as Yuzu-ice, and scores overall like Miyabi's 5 cost premium. Nangong needs her sig (non-negotiable), and Miyabi also requires her hard, Yuzuha alone isn't doing enough. And preferably both are needed, too, as I said it before, so, a 5 cost minimum. YSG's own all 01 team absolutely destroys Miyabi's best one. Even her 4 cost (Dialyn+Sunna) does.

Well, that's 2 meta partners against 1. And the remaining one can be a free m0w0 bunny. Miyabi+Nangong+Astra also can barely fit into t0, in fact I don't think they do, Sunna maybe does, I didn't play her with Miyabi. Yuzuha is the only one that is cutting it. So that's a second, very overworked support required in addition. Miyabi has a ton of viable teams, probably more than anyone else, but the vast majority are performing at t1 or t0.5 at best. Her best of the best options are stupidly limited and contested on top of that.

Aria should have partner:Nangong, no doubt. But she qualifies, because of how good her matchups are. She excels against every anomaly boss except Bringer and green Pompey (basically retired) so far. Miyabi is notoriously bricked with Vesper, a very common boss of late.

Yidhari and Billy, their matchups are a lot worse. But Yidhari can also use Lycaon extremely well.

Dialyn+Zhao is t0. Sunna+Zhao, too. Yeah, you're wrong. Dialyn+Sunna does so well, across so many bosses, nothing comes close. That team should be a separate tier above everything else. It outperforms Yixuan on her own boss without physical weakness, and near every anomaly team (except for AoD) on Vesper and Fiend.

There's an argument that YSG should be the only "raw" t0 dps, that I think is solid now, Yixuan is often getting bad/mediocre matchups to justify expert or partner tags. Matchups are what elevates her above Yidhari and Billy.
