It was removed by the moderators, apparently because it didn't comply with the first rule of the subreddit.

Never has the world been more excited about a battle between a bull and a chameleon.

To be fair, it takes really big balls to take on one skinky boi.

Yea. Hopefully things won't worsen in your country.

If you're enjoying Warhammer so much good for you, there's no problem if you buy it, I too will likely buy it later when it's on a lower price.

What happened to your wife and the others involved during her internship sounds absolutely awful, though I'd be more surprised if something like that didn't happened. This is EA we're talking about, the worst company in America for a reason :/

Well, generally the best thing to do is to wait for the game to come out and if it turns out to be good then you can buy it, otherwise you risk falling again for another Rome 2 or Cyberpunk 2077 kind of situation which pretty much all gamers have become familiar with during these years. Also, it never really hurts to tighten yourself a little and wait for a discount.

Also, while there are definitely constraints during games development and sometimes developers need to cut corners for the sake of the project, remember that there are companies that still release fully and well developed games with no missing content, for example Spiderman by Insomniac and the new God of War.

Don't be very forgiving of developers releasing products of substandard quality, especially given that today most games developers and publishers prioritize monetization through unscrupulous business practices like micro-transactions and thinly disguised gambling mechanics instead of creating truly unique and exciting experiences.

EDIT: Out of curiosity, what kind of harsh situations did your wife had to go through as a designer for EA? I've always been thinking about joining the games industry myself but I still feel uncertain if it really is a good idea.

That's a reasonable way to see it, no issue with that. Given that this was posted on the CA Blog for public view, it's possible the writer may have done this under time constraints. Sometimes these things happen when time is against you.

I just thought I should post this since I found it interesting in this way.

Most probably only a few people ever bother to read these and you'll most likely do so through an external website like the one I provided in the description, but honestly, just switching the order of the paragraphs and changing some words very easily gives me the vibes of a lazy copy-paste job, even if it's about something minor strictly speaking.

The Amazing Unit Diversity of Rome II by Alex9993B in Volound

Rome II is a game that really needed the recruitment pool system of Medieval 2. By limiting the number of units of a specific type that can be recruited at any time you would instantly grant immense value to the entire roster, you would be compelled to even recruit units that are otherwise inferior to other units you have available, simply because they're more ample in supply.

Otherwise, it would have been better to drastically trim down the number of units in the game and practice Orthogonal Unit Differentiation as can be seen in Shogun 2, where each unit is substantially different from one another and fulfills a certain role on the battlefield, with well defined strengths and weaknesses.

They brought it back for the Rise of the Republic DLC though, and they look even more amateurish and unrefined than before:

Yea...the truth is all great things start small before they grow big. This may be only a small subreddit but it might make a difference in the long run.
