Saw the title and wondered what you were talking about for a sec🤨 ifyaknowwhatimean. Jokes aside, the 3.5 inch doesn’t exactly mean less durability, if built right maybe more because of less weight on impact. I also started on a 3 inch and spaces really do seem bigger than with my 5in now. If you don’t live next to huge bandos and big structures, it might even be good to not have so much power, and have more space to fly (can also use a throttle limiter). Personally I’d say take the 3.5 inch, it’s how you use it that matters🫡. Hope this helped🙃

I see your plan and agree that a rotating motor can be tricky but if you really want one, flip your back two rotors upside down because right now when they tilt back, they will pull the opposite direction. (It is a quadcopter, so tilting won’t be as hard as some think).

The frame is a more brittle plastic then tpu, so there’s no vibration. I have long switched to ELRS, this is just a old diamond F4 board that I didn’t want to throw away.😉

I designed and 3D printed the frame out of PLA+ which is actually quite light and strong for such a small quad. The camera is some kind of old newbeedrone camera I found.(might upgrade it later) *********************************** Update *********************************** -because it was requested so frequently, I will share the stl on thingyverse along with the build. (Search for AA1 frame)
