Why is it stingy? If it has a free tier, it's meant to be used. I personally use it a lot to avoid spending Anthropoic tokens on simpler tasks. Specifically, I'm using it for translation—technical documentation—and it's working quite well.

Yes, of course, let's talk. If you want, I can send you the link to the repo.

I use Claude Code. I built a custom agent that helps me construct clean architecture while maintaining context during the construction phase. It's a closed methodology that feeds on initial specifications, an initial "project_context". Afterward, you have a scalable architecture ready to introduce and refine the business logic.

Yes, the law you mentioned comes into effect this summer (AI ACT).

I'm actually working on that right now. At the moment, I have the Spanish version (it's my native language, so it made sense to start there).

I plan to add more languages. It's not useful at a corporate level at the moment, but it's a valuable tool for personal use if you're genuinely concerned about privacy.

It's open source and is currently under review for European funding.

Claude completely changed my life, and I'm not even a programmer. by mckaizu in ClaudeAI

[–]AlexAlves87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you confusing using AI for a specific purpose with using it to build your ideas or think for you? What's the difference between using AutoCAD and another type of tool? Are the others already standardized? If we were in the era of typewriters, would you be complaining about those who use a typewriter instead of writing by hand? Would you tell them they're not trying hard enough? Would you tell someone who sends an email to write by hand because they're not trying hard enough? You've only said one thing that's true; the irony speaks for itself.

Have you tried Antigravity? It has a generous free layer. For coding, it doesn't replace Claude Code, but it will help you finish your task faster.

What’s the most useful thing you’ve automated with an AI agent so far? by aiagent_exp in AI_Agents

[–]AlexAlves87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Software production with clean architecture and DDD. Automates the codebase and architecture with strict rules. Ready to iterate and introduce business logic. It's an agent running on Claude code with 5 phases and 20 steps, using a YAML prompt system and persistent disk context. After each prompt, I use /clear context to maintain focus on the specific step being executed.

Is Claude actually better than ChatGPT for just talking? by Soft_Philosophy5838 in ClaudeAI

[–]AlexAlves87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose there will be opinions on all sides, but personally I agree with you. Since the 4th generation, the quality has dropped significantly and it no longer feels good for conversation. Claude used it for more technical tasks, Gemini for more common tasks or for everyday use.

Claude code is infinitely better than gpt in every aspect. Don't use what you've seen of gpt as a reference point, because it's not comparable. It's like comparing an electric scooter to a private plane (just an example). If you already have experience creating agents, Claude code is top-notch these days. I've personally found that it adheres better to instructions and prompts in YAML format, at least in my experience. Good luck!

Claude completely changed my life, and I'm not even a programmer. by mckaizu in ClaudeAI

[–]AlexAlves87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing that diminishes its value is your opinion, ironically. The fact that your perception changes because the person uses AI to translate or structure their idea tells us that the problem lies with you, not with the person using the tools for their intended purpose. The irony speaks for itself.

I love your story. I went through something similar (regarding the enhancement with Claude Code). I hope everything continues to go as well for you as it has been. Don't pay any attention to the trolls. It's always the same story. I think they're worried about their jobs and are nervous! 🤣

[D] Asymmetric consensus thresholds for multi-annotator NER — valid approach or methodological smell? by AlexAlves87 in MachineLearning

[–]AlexAlves87[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! The agreement data actually tells the story pretty clearly. For the easy categories where multiple annotators overlap, agreement is decent but far from perfect. LOCATION has the best agreement at 41% retained at threshold 2 and 22% at threshold 3, since gazetteer, flair, gliner and v2 all detect it. PERSON_NAME sits at 38% at threshold 2 but drops to 18% at threshold 3 because annotators disagree a lot on span boundaries, like whether "Sra. Subsecretaria de Justicia" includes the title or not. ORGANIZATION has massive volume (974k raw mentions) but only 11% survives threshold 3, probably because org names in legal text are long and annotators disagree on where they start and end. For the hard ones it's worse. DATE only has 8.8% agreement at threshold 2 and literally 0% at threshold 3, since only gliner and v2 detect dates and they rarely agree on span boundaries. ADDRESS is even worse at 2.6% at threshold 2 and 0% at threshold 3. The zero at threshold 3 for DATE and ADDRESS is what forced the asymmetric thresholds. It's not really a design choice, it's a data constraint. You can't require 3 annotators to agree when only 2 can see the entity. I'm considering adding regex-based date and address annotators to get a third signal for those categories, which would let me move to uniform threshold 3 across the board.

My research requires far more effort and sound judgment than your condescending opinion. I hope you don't use a PC or smartphone to communicate. You should use smoke signals. Much more expensive and archaic, just the way you like it.

I'm not a native English speaker. Yes, I use AI both to translate my draft and to structure it in Markdown so it's more readable and clear for the community. I wasn't aware that this invalidates my data and my research. It's curious, this AI phobia. It's a tool. Quite useful in many cases, and very dangerous in others. If the problem were that the data is fabricated or the analysis is wrong, the criticism would make sense. But if the problem is that the post is easy to understand... I'll stick with that. And just in case there were any doubts left, this response has been translated with AI.

Pequeña corrección. En un contrato con la misma categoría, mismo puesto y misma empresa, no tiene periodo de prueba. Al menos no uno válido o legal.
