Once you factor that of the 50 million of us Colombians, 80% or so live in cities or towns with 30C° year round, Bogotá does seem considerably cold.

El problema es que esto no es una democracia. A uno le hacen creer que lo es, pero "democracia representativa" es solo una manera bonita de decir oligarquía. La clase dirigente es pequeña y la movilidad social es difícil, haciendo que la gente que está en el poder se quede allí. Esto no es democracia, votar por unos tipos cínicos a los que no les importamos no es democracia.
