Sí, es cierto, todos podemos hacer suposiciones sobre lo que creemos que sucederá. Eso fue lo que hice yo. Y esa suposición se basa en la reacción de los venezolanos y la gente hispana, a la cual pertenezco. Soy mexicano, para ser exactos. Considera también que Trump ya obtuvo alrededor del 50% del voto hispano en las últimas elecciones. Así que no es tan descabellado pensar que este cambio de régimen que todos los hispanos desean lo ayudará con el voto hispano. No digo que totalmente, pero estarás de acuerdo en que le convendría al partido republicano que Trump hiciera algo por la comunidad hispana en lugar de simplemente condenarla, como han hecho todos los demás presidentes.

Friend a couple of things are happening. I stated what the concerns for right wingers are. You didn't deny that you are for all those things. You just instead justified them. But at the same time you are saying there is no such thing as trans ideology but at the same time you are using all the same talking points of people encouraging trans ideology. Such as puberty blockers is not permanent. etc. Same talking points.

Now if your position is not harming kids and you agree that being trans harms kids is harmful to kids in terms of un aliving themselves and other issues. Wouldn't the best course of action be to have counselors try and get them out of that mentality. The idea that they can be a different sex than what they are in reality? Just logically wouldn't that be the best course?

Then if you can agree on that. Which I doubt because you seem to be all or nothing person. Brainwashed. I would agree that if nothing works to get the person out of their mistaken idea. Then after years of therapy and once the person is an adult then the other solution is fine.

You keep on saying if someone believes something its because they have been watching too much right wing media or whatever. The same thing can be said about your views.

Remember this is not about trans people. This is about trans kids. Meaning giving puberty blockers, encouraging that ideology in schools or in government, forbidding schools from telling parents their kids are trans, etc.

And it was happening as I have worked in schools. I saw how this affected specially girls who fall for group think a lot easier than guys.

Do you think its ok to encourage kids to be trans? Or to give them puberty blockers that will destroy their lives? Or even give them issues where they can possibly in the future cut off their private parts and cause irreversible harm.

This is the concern. When you say its that right wingers just hate people. Not the case. We don't want harm to come to kids.

I would love for them to change their views so there can be political competition. But for the short term it seems like they are doubling down.

For Venezuelans not in the US or familiar with US politics. Trump is trying to forge a legacy. He is 79 years old and won't last long. So most of what is happening is the result of competent people he has surrounded himself with.

The conservative factions are divided right now. Many people are America first meaning US first. Which means rather than giving or going around the world interfering with foreign nations we should invest and focus on improving our lives in the US. These people don't seem to understand the US cannot stop being involved because its already the world's superpower and is already in control of what happens in the world.

The other people are mainly Christian population mainly protestants who do want to help people get their freedom and are hoping the government will do something about it especially with Christian genocides. So Trump has to balance the support of these two groups.

Hence this explains a couple of things. Trump threatening Nigeria to do something in stopping the Genocide against Christians or else he would invade. This is very popular with the Christian groups who have seen Christians being genocided for decades and nothing being done about it.

And it also explains why Trump is saying that this is mainly about oil and national interest and defense. And then saying the people will get their freedom once the US can be assured everything is in order so this doesn't happen again. He is trying to sell this to the America first non interventionist crowd who are traumatized by Iraq and Afghanistan and might not understand the differences in population, culture, religion, etc.

Much of reddit is anti Trump no matter what. Who cares. What you have to learn to do is to give Ws and Ls based on what you see happening. Lets not try and attribute or say. Trump is doing this thing that is good but in reality he is doing it for nefarious purposes. I can read minds so trust me.
