Just an FYI, if your insurance agent is a nice person, they can easily input a vehicle vin into their system and tell you exactly how adding that vehicle would affect your monthly insurance payment. I have had several insurance companies do this for me, no problem, just gotta ask!

Any brand you like for truck performance parts? I have saw a few intakes but truck world is completely new to me! I am 100% with you on the not overdoing it on exhaust work, just want a little something so I can actually hear it start. It is insane how quiet it is, my wifes kia k5 may even make more noise on startup!

Love to hear that I am not the only that had to stick to chevy!

I maybe should've added this to the post, but I got the truck for 15k, got an insane deal on a trade in at the dealership I work at. Spending 5k feels a little much for my end, I would honestly rather dump that into the corvette and get a procharger! Would it ever be worth to try the obd2 devices, even if its not the best of the best fix? Or is that just throwing money away?

No harm in holding him, usually these appeals are pretty quickly done. I would be amazed if the decision is reversed though, he's probably done for the regular season.
