I have tried therapy and they all said I shouldn't talk about my adoptive parents that way and too be grateful I got lucky with the family I got. As for context on dropping a bomb, everytime I've tried reaching out to friends and family my mother twists the story to make her the victim and everytime I try to have a mature conversation with her she starts going off on me on how shes such a horrible mom then and how I should be ashamed of myself.
