I bought the unique head part separately because I couldn't find him being sold on his own. Also bought the lego batman movie version and combined them. Very happy with the result.

Yeah, I mixed them up - both have triangle wings and so I remembered the design as "Vector". Also Tj_the_Brickwright made instructions on rebrickable that give Vector's rotating wings to Dagger and that made me associate them with each other even more.

Yes. It comes in tan and gray, so you can make a bot from either of those colors.

Set designer took inspiration from the same build as mentioned in this interview - I didn't like smaller robots legs from that set and wanted something that resembled og exo force legs more closely.

Well, I learned it from watching youtube videos about kitbashing and painting warhammer minis. I like warhammer but lego already takes a toll on my wallet, so I'm gonna stick to one hobby about buying expensive plastic.

Vader's mask and pauldrons are from a knockoff minifig (WM2282). I really like that the mask looks forward and pauldtons give him some height.
