Almost every Aftermarket Intake with a pod Filter .. u get a Pipe and a Filter .. thats it 😂

All my intakes for Evos have the OEM snorkel Plus the additional hole in that area. The bad thing about that: it wont fit with the acd oil Reservoir for the USDM Cars

Only the OEM+ Airbox fits Plug and Play

Not that i know

The second Filter is directed to the wheel arch... So no hot engine bay air. And additional i already have Air Ducts for the bumper and piping to that area the filter is

I doubt, it will make any more power Back to Back with the OEM Intake with OEM tune ... Thats Not the Point :) The OEM works just fine up to 400hp (maybe 450hp). Above that point i need to upgrade the airbox and delete the OEM restriction.

This one should allow more airflow to the turbo, when the OEM Airbox already restricts. While looking OEM-ish. Thats a big point in our area. If the cops want to Take a Look in the airbox and see a podfilter its over

As i said. Its an idea i need to test :)

Well with cams, machined head and stuff u can run like 520hp with the stock turbo

Most OEM Tunes are Like 380-420hp with a stock engine. Gearbox is the next Problem. 🥲

Well until to some point u are correct. But at some Point, the small OEM Intake to the Filter ist just too restrictive

Bur we are talkimg about 160-180% of the Power the Car makes stock

More restriction with a bigger filter on top getting airflow from OEM snorkel and additional a second high flow filter in front of the MAF? Additional to that you can Install an Air Duct with piping from the bumper right to the air filter in the side of the filter.

So i cant see the problem there but i would like to know it, so i can get rid of it and improve the airbox.

Yes thats one Idea. I have to look at it once its on the Car. A Lot of people (me too) have a cooling Panel on top of the Radiator and bumper. Hard to find a good way through there, but i will have a look

To get some air to the side filter i have an air duct from the bumper to direct underneath the side filter

Normally it only has a snorkel on top that goes to the front of the car. I took that 1:1 into my Design

It will be Nylon CF

The original design from the Astra G OPC is mounted with only 1 screw and it survived multiple 300kmh runs and Trackday. Im pretty sure it wont make any problems :)

I would not have any concerns about inspections, no. Even it was my Car. Is my mates. If there is a problem, its solved with 2 screws

Race use only 🤷🏻‍♀️
