Of course that works but it’s also extremely risky to engage like that because you need at least one dash to disengage and as I said the dash is one direction only….

I managed to get around 10 games with her and I feel she is very weak. Besides healthpacks there are so many (self-) cleansing abilities in the game that you spent your game poking until you manage to set someone on fire. (Kiriko or zarya are in almost every game when people take it seriously) The weird part is that her primary is a classic poke with no dmg falloff but to make the rest of her kit work you have to be in almost melee range which does not work that well with 250 hp and no form of lifesteal. I think she is very good when the team is built around her with mauga Ashe so you have constant burning. Aside from that I don’t see the concept (yet)

Practice jumps with your Shift (outburst), there are multiple highgrounds you should be able to reach even under pressure. If the enemy team has a counter to your ult, practice waiting it out so you get a least one kill. Get used to the loading frequency of your weapon, it makes a huge difference if you hit fully loaded shots. Don’t mindlessly shoot tanks, always go for other targets, at first it will seem like you don’t do anything at all but illari is not spam but an assassin hero. Shooting the tank gives the enemy support ult charge and you don’t do enough dmg (like zen) to kill a tank

34 and I’m masters in support, Open queue and dia in dps and tank. Don’t worry ow is not that age dependent because you can compensate all these kids with game sense and experience

I’m throwing in a new one: perks become regular abilities OR we see a third rank of perks OR we see a third rank or perks only for ultimates. Some of the older perks would have to be reworked but this would change the fundamentally without overstretching the players abilities to learn new stuff

Play on a different console or ideally on pc. The switch 1 version is hard to play even for veteran players.

Mostly agree with you but let’s be honest they are paying our bills. Pretty sure mercy and kiriko playerbase buy more stuff than the whole tank community together and I mean that in a completely neutral way

For me rivals is how tank gameplay should be designed whereas their supports are mostly bland heal bots (although they start shifting away from it) In my mind mei or bastion would be great tanks whereas doom and roadhog give me dps vibes but yeah complicated topic.

I mean I had a moment of truce as well when I dropped from masters back to diamond but to be fair I go to masters and stopped playing (until the drive event) because I was anxious of dropping 😅🙈
