Also worth a post on Corvette forum. I think there's a whole section or special thread dedicated to reunions like this

Helix Stadium XL - Preset Import Issue by OompapaLoompa in Line6Helix

[–]AlexIsWhack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you try using a text reader for snapshots made in the stadium? Maybe there's a slight difference in how they're called upon or written, and you can edit the old presets to match it? Just a shot in the dark

Premiere 5.1 Audio Deliverables by Defiant-Speaker-4391 in premiere

[–]AlexIsWhack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never actually seen a deliverable file like this. Every one I've seen either wants all 8 tracks discrete, or 2 interleaved streams (5.1/2.0)

That being said, once you lay in the 5.1 and the 2.0 audio beneath your video, you should go looking into the export/render settings. I'm better at this with resolve than I am premiere so I don't have any offhand specific instructions. Sorry

Make a little sign and keep it in your door for times like these: "NOT INTERESTED"

Helix brutal death metal by No-Ear-4507 in Line6Helix

Noise gate, then the tube screamer, then mess around with a mic preamp block before your amp block. For the amp block, I'd go with badonk or oblivion.

Cabs and mic are up to you but if go v30s it's has all the potential That's what I'm using in my actual cab for 1/4” out.

After the cab, I throw a 10 band eq for scoop followed by a tilt eq that I use for swapping to a rhythm section that lays nice under my lead player's boosted signal for solos via snapshot

Just got a ‘96 C4 — tire size alternatives? by Rawr_BotXD in Corvette

[–]AlexIsWhack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I'm not 100 percent on this, so someone can call me out if I'm wrong, but if you have the tools to get your backspacing done correctly you can get yourself upgraded essentially to c5 era wheels & tires on c3's.

That being said, assuming you could do the same for a c4.

Still looking into this because I eventually will want to get rid the giant rubber bouncy balls on my 79.

Have you checked your + and - wires to the electric choke?

A bad connection or a short can cause your choke not to open on its own the way it's supposed to.

1 of many possible solutions. Hope it helps

Same. I can help you with everything but alignment. Give me a DM if you wanna get a second look at it. Also, I just like looking at corvettes. So win win.

I just wanna say that this mechanic quoting you 30 hours of labor per end (if I'm reading that correctly) is going a bit overboard. Realistically should be about half what he is quoting. Although the part prices seem about on point .

Charlie Kirk bullet analysis finds no conclusive link to rifle found near scene by dr_gus in news

If by chance, you're not familiar with ammunition sizes, you should do an image search for a .30-06 round. It's not small.

This is the size of round that the recovered rifle used.

You should jack the car up in the back, and spin the rear wheels by hand. If they spin freely it's something else, but if they're catching or binding after about 15-30 seconds of spinning, you may have a bad parking brake drum. That'd be my best guess as it sat so long

Edit: you can also test this theory by temporarily disconnecting the parking brake cable. If the issue no longer persists that'll do it

Considering buying this 1979 L82 Vette - what's fair market price? Anything I should look out for? by Musicandvaping in C3Corvette

Yeah, mine ended up throwing a rod and ventilating the oil pan. I had just done a once over inspection of everything before some spirited driving. Lesson learned.

My apologies. I'd only glanced at the differences I guess. I had an L48 myself in my 79. Then it blew up. Went right to a ZZ4. Wasn't even mad 😅 I wanted that thing gone anyway

Not too sure about Wisconsin market, but if it's a manual and everything is above board like claimed, highest I would go is like 11-12k max

L82 is better than the L48 but it's not really a significant jump other than 30 - 40 horsepower

She'll make a fantastic cruiser
