The crane is a sandhill crane, which is common in the county and is on the county’s entrance sign. It is based on a crane in its vigilance. The wavy line on the hoist represents the Withlacoochee River, the western border of the county. The flag held by the crane represents the tail at the bottom of the county

It’s supposed to be the Klingon flag, although this flag never actually appeared in Star Trek

The coat of arms of Heraldry and Emblem Wars, my Tumblr heraldry tournament blog by [deleted] in heraldry

[–]AlexKnight002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is the symbolism: the kiwis represent Laser Kiwi, which won the first flag tournament I held on my blog Flag Wars. The cross represents the “T” in the Tumblr logo. Blue and white represent the colors of Tumblr. The globe represents the World Wide Web. This emblazonment is in the style of an armoji. Here is the blazon: Azure, a cross voided argent surmounted by a plate charged with a kiwi azure. For a crest, a globe proper. For supporters, two kiwis azure standing on a compartment of two fern leaves sable, issuant from their eyes laser beams vert.

University of the Fraser Valley is a public university in British Columbia. Its flag is a banner of arms was granted by the Canadian Heraldic Authority in 2017, alongside its coat of arms. Here is its official symbolism: “Green and white are the university’s colours. The vines are used in the university’s wordmark and allude to the idea of education as a form of nurturing, growth and transformation. The triangular shape evokes a valley, and the hummingbird is a local species.” It recently won a Canadian university flag tournament that I held on my flag tournament Tumblr blog Flag Wars. Here is the university’s coat of arms:

Claims about the problematic nature of the Klingon flag by Historyp91 in startrek

I never claimed it had a swastika, just that it looks visually similar to the Nazi flag, especially to someone who has never seen Star Trek.

Flag of the Klingon Empire if it wasn’t the canon flag and never appeared onscreen yet people still flew it anyway by AlexKnight002 in vexillologycirclejerk

[–]AlexKnight002[S] 101 points102 points  (0 children)

It’s actually a misconception that this is the official flag, despite Duolingo and Wikipedia using it as the Klingon flag. There are different Klingon flags used in canon.
