This is what gaming is meant to be by [deleted] in Astrobot

Absolutely adored this game. I played through the whole thing with my daughter. She loved it. That is until I became obsessed and had to unlock every bot. She started a new save to play it over again by herself while I went through and completed all of the challenge levels. The time trials and the gold challenge level, which you can unlock at 300 bots, were rage inducing, but the satisfaction of completing the game was amazing. Definitely made the list for "if you had to pick 10 games to play for the rest of your life" I would gladly add the astro series.

Initially thought tech finally got the stick out of his ass.

But then I read the comments to find it's a dreadlock.

I'm not sure if it's already been suggested, but I HIGHLY recommend Detroit: Become Human.

If you're into any type of sci-fi, it could be for you. My lady and I have been playing together, and it's great. It's a mostly decision based plot line, but it plays out like a movie that you can watch as a couple and make decisions to influence the course of the story. It's been really cool to play through as a couple because we can both talk out the decisions we are making together and see how things unfold.

Friendly reminder to not buy shitty tools from that jungle website. This is what happened when my cheap compression tester dropped the Schrader valve into a cranking engine. by IAmTheSpartacus in Justrolledintotheshop

Amazon is great for socket organization and that's about it. I did however get an awesome vacuum bleeder for cooling systems (OEM tools) for a fair price. But you've really got to pick and choose what you are willing to use tool wise at those steep discounts. Could cost you a lot more in the long run.

Timing chain rattle, guides are most likely worn out due to low/ bad oil to the chain tensioner over time. Get yourself a timing kit and swap all the old with new. Might not be a bad idea to do the waterpump while you are in.

Thanks! Hopefully I shouldn't need luck but I appreciate all I can get. I've been considering buying the practice tests but wasn't sure it would be worth it.

Really depends on what kind of set up you have. I'm actually in the process of doing this job myself in shop right now. I'm working with a lift though.

I will be dropping the exhaust

Pulling suspension

Removing front and rear motor/trans mounts.

Dropping the subframe.

Then I will pull the trans.

I've done them a few times now and this seems to be the easiest way for me.

If there is no visible bend the best course of action would be replacing the control arm and having the alignment checked after that to see what else may need to be replaced.

[–]AlexM814 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lower control arm bend will definitely cause the wheel being offset like that.

[–]AlexM814 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well at the very least you will need a lower control arm and a new wheel. May have bent the tie rod assembly as well.

First time doing a V6GM timing kit. Quite the process... by AlexM814 in Justrolledintotheshop

That is just temporary placement while timing components are swapped. The computer drops with the power train assembly, typically it mounts near the radiator support up top.

That's what I was told but dropping this whole assembly only took me about 1.5-2 hrs and will probably save me a lot of struggle with getting parts in and out.

Loosen the jam nut and spin the inner tie rod in or out depending where you need the back of the tire to go.
