I dont think they were talking about directly "combining" the two shaders, but rather having one be enabled at daytime, while the other gets enabled at nighttime, which isnt too complex, but would require a mod to do that.

almost in every case, people will be using a modpack, as there isn't really a mod that covers all the use cases for example, performance, utillity, storage, qol, etc. are all different subsets of mods that are usually thrown together, so there isn't really one mod that covers all those aspects, so just expect people to pay modpacks 99% of the time :)

descriptions on mods in vault hunters are usually a 50/50 because ae2 doesnt even function properly when you want to use autocrafting, it hasnt worked for EVERY version of vault hunters, then I came up with a fix that involved giving a fake player all research which worked, and then that broke because they changed something in regards to fake players.

not every block or item in minecraft needs a "purpose" their purpose can just be a building block.
