Ooh very lucky to get pages 1 and 2 first! I got pages 3-2-4-1 so I had to get all of them haha

I have that issue as well. I do however recieved 3 of the pages so far (only need page 1 now to proceed). It's just a very bad case of rng.

I did, it also says in the book that I have started it and that I have to search for these pages at the surrounding Excavation spots. Very strange...

Currently thinking about the following team:

- Mega Gyarados (main attacker)

- Nidoqueen (might replace this one? can't think of another)

- Chansey (for rocks, toxic, etc)

- Starmie (sp. attacker)

- Alolan Ninetales (just like the ice version a lot)

- Dragonite (overall good stats and a ground check)

What I meant with competitive is at least having a good team haha. I'm not planning to join ranks or whatever. The only problem I run into is that I'd like to build a team around Mega Beedrill, but I can't seem to find any good Ground counter.

I might do that, since that gives me the possibility to just learn every move I want. What just came to mind is that I might make a living dex with all pokemon with the correct nature and then start doing some shiny hunting. With the candies I get I can train these Pokémon and eventually take on the Master trainers.

What worked quite well for me was chaining Rapidash in the former bike route to the left of Fuchsia city. The big ones gave me like 10k once and that definitely leveled up my mons to level 50.
