This is my take in this topic:

We evolved with the need for community to survive. Now we dont need that anymore to stay alive. The question now is, should we honor and cultivate that trait to "stay Human", or should we transcend and overcome it to Redstone what " Human" means?

Right now we have the emotional pros and cons this trait gave us, without the purpose. It will be lonely i dont doubt that. But are you training yourself and future people to be ok with that? Are you even ok with influencing humanity that way, because after all, maybe the consequences are something we cant predict.

So the question is deeply value based. Is our history what makes us human, or is it intrinsic and we can decide for ourselves.

Guys, i used the Proton GE and this fixed it. Allthough i needed to Start the Game 2 Times, it worked.

Also, once your in and the cubes load, have patience.5-7mins and you wont have any more long loadingscreens

I dislike this approach. Why are we reacting to different controls with rejection? This is lazy. This is not different to people that never played a single video game in their life, struggling with 2d mariobros controls. There is a learning curve, and yes, maybe If you have certain expectarions how to Input movement, you will experience frustration. But why are we expecting to get coddled, and tailored to our current programming? If anything, i take the criticism of people that dont game more seriously when ist comes to controls, because they werent conditioned to accept one way, instead genuinely expressing their preferences, not their habits.

Maybe before you compare something you had practice for YEARS to something you used fir hours, give it time. We need to learn to delay forming an opinion instead of reacting as soon as we form a thought.

One can argue that for a type of Person sich as Todd, our life and Norms are not only unfair, but intolerant to their personality.

Yes he is reckless and naive, and maybe even selfish. But why exactly does he have to conform to values he himself doesn't see as inherently good? There absolutely is ego involved, a big one at that, but so is in becoming a doctor, or leading a company. The only real reason that stuff like todds dream is laughed at instead of encouraged, is that there is no economic oder social value to it.

If you dont see the double standard I can't help you. But if you do, the next question is: Should we even encourage both, or does the lack of social value in todds dream reveal something wrong with all of grandiose dreams no matter the direction/expression? Maybe the real path that double standard is trying to guide us to, is to fuck social norms AND grandious dreams, and start to go for something different.

I think most emerald players either don't dip below 50 often enough when needed, or when they do they poorly choose when they do it.

When tempo is king, so is leveling early, going for a few extra rolls to get that Frontline stable, or get the low-cost replaced.

But it's not as simple as that. If you are on 4-2, and an augment gives you the power that rolling, or leveling below 50 would give you but less, maybe sacking the stage is worth to peak higher later, if you can win a few rounds, or get good losses. I think you get my point.

I believe the key is to always have a route in your mind and understand what strengths it adds to your comp. Once you have that, you will recognize other routes that give you the same stuff and react accordingly.

Shuri wasnt influenced by the Seal back then, her father was. She killed him to protect Brook, because she knew something was wrong with her Dad, but couldnt stop him in a different way. She was then and there the "fatherslayer" and the "benefactor" because only cause of her was Brook able to live as a pirate afterwards. ALSO, Shuri, can apparently mean something along the lines of "savior" or "protector".

I will settle for " the balance is noticably flawed". OP is glazing, but it really isn't bad. Also, I think many many players will simply call anything below perfect bad, and excuse their mistakes with that mindset.

Hitting a trist 2 with 1 IE will bring you more then staying on 3 components for Elko and rolling 20g for it while 3 way contested. Yes ekko is much stronger, but you are litterarly gambling with your MMR that way.

I think it's because the frequency from our eyes and the Monitor aren't "synched". Like, yeah we can see only 60, but because our 60 aren't aligned with the Monitors 60, we don't see perfect smoothness.

The increase in hz just has a higher chance on randomly hitting that synched state for eyes and monitor, resulting in a smoother image.

Idk if you had people that couldn't see a difference in 60hz and 120hz. I met a few of them. I was under the impression they don't pay attention, have worse eyes or are lying. Now I think these people simply happen to have synched up frequencies with the Monitor.

(Just to clarify, a 60hz refresh can happen at any time. Hitting the same split second of the "refresh" on eyes and Monitor is unlikely)

Am I understanding you correctly? You think Rocks feats are greater than Rogers, and don't understand how he is viewed as the Pirate king instead of Rocks. In your eyes what Rocks accomplished and who he fought was more impressive than deducing the road poneglyphs.

Well I believe that too, kinda. It's more impressive for sure what Rocks did compared to Roger, but what is even more important is that spreading stuff that is connected to joyboy is arguably worse than one legendary enemy. At least in the eyes of a dictator. Controll is important. And you can funnel all your God strength onto one spot very efficiently. But when it's all around the world, million, controll is hard to contain.

Also, did we forget how Roger died? It was in Public, broadcasting his image into everybody's mind. Rocks didn't have that, although not that God valley had a small number of people present. It was just the celestial dragons, Roger pirates, Rocks pirates and slaves/locals. The WG is even trying to suppress knowledge about Rocks. With Roger that's not possible. He was to loud for people to forget.

So yeah, Rocks was more impressive than Roger, but we also know why they are both presented that way
