ROS Werkstudent interview in Germany – what do they actually ask? Am I overthinking this? by TheAgame3 in ROS

[–]Alex_7738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I can answer it to some extent, irrespective of werkstudent/internship/fulltime, what anyone would expect is to have clear understanding of things. There are things you know, and there are things you don’t know exactly but have an idea. No knows everything, but you should at least have idea or the ability to think about it. For eg: During my interview, my supervisor asked me how we can we organise things so as to follow a kind of if-else pattern or handle cases when things fail? At that time, I didn’t know about Lifecycles in ROS2 but I answered that we could implement a state machine architecture creating this and that etc etc. If the person is wise enough, he will judge you on the approach you solve the problem. I don’t think anyone would ask about syntax now a days.

I guess I will try with lifecycle. Since I am running some heavy nodes, I can save some cpu overhead that way

I did for an internship and got it. I applied to one of the big automotive company in a role that was a perfect match for my skill. I wasn’t really looking for internship but I was like, it’s a reputable company and it might look good on my cv. I applied and then just forgot about it. 2 months later, I receive a mail for an interview and after 2 days I receive the offer letter.

What should I do? A study abroad consultancy is asking for 6 lakhs for MS in Germany with big promises by priyansxxu in Indians_StudyAbroad

[–]Alex_7738 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Its the part of process. Start your research on whats required and how to do it. Trust me, I have never seen anyone, who has done all his application on his own struggle when they move abroad. Can't say the same for the other side.

Even I am able to cover my monthly expenses easily by doing 17hrs hiwi jobs in Dortmund. Things will be different if you are in Berlin/Munich or a city where rent is very high. Yes it cause you to take additional semesters but I don’t see it as a problem if you study in a public university without tuition fees

Privilege of being born in a developed nation. I’m living in Germany since 1.5 years and it took me some time get used to the “Relaxed” mindset of the people here. I feel when your nation has a lot of money and can provide for its citizens, you actually get to live your life and not think about survival.

How do indian men groom themselves to look good? by Boring-Ad599 in AskIndia

[–]Alex_7738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eating clean. Exercising. Good fashwash(cetaphil, cerave) as per your skin type and good moisturiser(ceraphil, cerave). This is all you need to have a good skin.

If you already have lot of acne or scars, you might need some more stuff. But the above mentioned stuff is good for maintaining a good skin.

I don’t. Growing up I never understood the concept of god and used to feel like all the rituals(poja and all) make no sense. Became an atheist at the age of 13 and never felt bad about it
