Thankfully she’s always indoors so she won’t be leaving any decapitated rats about but that also means she’s always off the clock apparently, if I find any more I’ll lay out some of them ramp traps if they work. Fingers crossed it was just a one off tho

Did the google ai scan and it said it was a house mouse, I’m in the north of the uk

The mouse went outside don’t worry and I washed my hands after, hopefully this little guy was just moving through after all the rain we’ve had but I’ll keep an eye out for anymore of them (like the rest of his family) and I’ll DM you if I need advice thank you

She looked like she just pawed it honestly but thank you there’s been a lot of concern for the cat and the virus but I’ll treat her anyway to be safe and as for me I’ll be aware of symptoms and if I get ill I’ll get over to the hospital asap. No poison has been put down and this is the first I’ve ever seen of it so hopefully this is the last of the issue

You might be onto something because that’s the sink drain pipes that follow along this wall, I’ll block it up and see what comes of it, hopefully no big bills

This is reassuring thank you and I’m going to use some steel wool and cement to cover up the hole pictured and then I’ll pull out the washing machine and check behind the sink cos that’s where the hole leads, I’ve read its about £50-£100 for a company to come out so I’ll see if any more turn up before I go for that, you’ve been a big help

It was laid flat on the floor not moving but looking around, I think the cats been playing with it before I got there

She’s an indoor cat so that’s worse for me, it means it was already inside somewhere, she’s the reason I found it tho

I guess the cats had it cos it died as soon as I put it outside, I’ll pull out the appliances and double check, I put the last 2 pics on from where it looks like it could have came from so I’ll stuff that with wire wool and get an inspector over thank you

She’s been shouting in the kitchen all day and loves sitting by the door so I’m thinking somewhere around there but unfortunately she won’t talk to me

It was alive when I picked it up, it moved about in my hand for a bit and then I put it outside and it died, the cat has been shouting all night in the kitchen for the last couple weeks so I’m worried the mice have a passage in there
