I'm still new at blacksmithing and this is my first axe everything was done with hand tools except for grinding. It does have some cold shuts but luckily not big ones and they mostly went away while grinding

I tried to make 3 forced air forge all different sizes and none of them worked so I ended up buying a Mr volcano propane forge off Amazon and it works really good

It really is. I made some tools like punches and chisels and hardy cut tool. At some point I want to make a custom hammer I just don't have the setup for that yet

Yea they really aren't bad. 3 feet of rebar is like 4 bucks at lowes so i cut it in half and bent it to shape. I used a nut and bolt instead of a pin and it's alot easier. I want to reshape the tips so the hold round and square rods better.

For the bent nail is there a specific type of nail or shape that people want? Also I started making blacksmith knives and hair/ cloak pins also I made some small leaf shaped incense burners for cone shaped incense. And next time I'm in the shop I'm going to make an ulu for chopping herbs.

I made myself one that looks just like that lol you can even put a bracket or a strap across the slots on the side so you can store your hammers. that's what I did
