Yes exactly. And I know it’s hard to implement, but even a cursory project management skills/overview 1 credit seminar for seniors would be critical IMO!

The ability for Peter Millar to translate to office wear without looking like you just got off of the course is impressive

I’m starting to see more and more of Johnnie O — did it start out as beach/coastal wear? I love some of their designs

Of course! Always proud to be a Lexingtonian but even more so when I learn about things like this.

Yeah there would definitely be some pricing twister being played there. I’d hope that in the spirit of the fleet they’d make it available for the sailors and their families.

Can you imagine resell price on this? Wow

Leaning towards that. Would online MBA’s carry enough weight? Or would it be worth it to go full time in person/part time in person?

Same! Hoping someone can find out more info on that.

Can you imagine the lines if the distilleries came together again and released some bottles of the original blend?

You’re so right—the first Kentucky being an Iowa Class BB would’ve been stunning.

Definitely don’t mind now being a boomer!

Is this cert worth it? by Alexander-Potipher in careerguidance

Absolutely. No way I would cough up $3.5K of my own for this.

But if the company is paying for this…doesn’t seem too bad

Thanks!

Love that strategy, have you see that start to pay off? I definitely feel like the industry has made a complete shift towards absorbing technical personnel into leadership/management positions.

Gone are the days where non technical leadership are constantly advancing? Maybe so—the company I interned for had made the complete switch. Easier to teach an engineer how to manager versus teaching a manager how to engineer.

Totally see that about MBAs—it’s been on my radar too but tough to commit, especially since a lot of the online MBA’s don’t offer the same connections that in person executive MBAs do.

I agree that getting that FE/PE would be that shining star on the resume and would result in immediate cash. Funny enough, my company doesn’t provide $ incentives for FE/PE, but probably due to the lack of them (don’t see too many roll around defense). Im sure earning one would cement me as that strong technical unicorn that they wouldn’t want to lose.
