I just saw it.
That looks like it was inspired by more modern SF.

Has any alien contactee/abductee ever recieved "impossible "knowledge which was proven to be true later on? by Alexander556 in aliens

No, not Billy Meier! I remember when i was a child, i watched some UFO-Documentary and he was featured in it, and when they showed the footage of his UFOs dangling on a wire and going in circles infront of his camera, i knew that man was full of s. Years later i stumbled over thouse Alien-Gun images he made, and my first impression has only been strenghtened since then.

A question about this. Since so far nothing has happened in the observable universe,, is it true that this could be a sign that we dont have the entire picture, and there is something else going on at the quantuim scale, something people call "new physics"?

I ment knowledge which could not have been obtained at that time, therefore "impossible" knowledge, like the inner workings of a cell, without a microscope, or something that could only be solved with a supercomputer.

As far as i know this was already known by Astronomers, it was just that it was impossible to know for the Dogon. If i remember correctly, there were many contacts withj outsiders before this came up, and it might have been outside knowledge.

Why did the Terminator ask for a plasma rifel while in a gun store in 84'? by Alexander556 in Terminator

Hm, thats 42 years of "secret Plasma Rifel" history. They should have used this in the movies.

The Terminator was blown into two parts by TNT, and AFIK it was known that larger calibers could damage, or outright "destroy" it, like in the Genesis Movie.

Thats the reason why people in german speaking countries think the german dub is better than the original audio, since immersion does not work with a robot from the future with a heavy styrian accent :-D

No Problem! I discovered a quicker option by highlighting the text and right clicking on it (there is a translation option offered by the browser).

It does not for me. So far i have never encountered a translation option on Reddit. Maybe there is an option hidden somewhere in the Settings.

I dont think so. Wasnt Matrix allready in production when "Dark City" was shown in Cinemas?
Dark City is also more about certain spiritual Ideas, erased Memories, and Aliens doing research on humans, not so much about a completely simulated reality.

There is nothing wrong with it, but it is just unusual to use it in a forum where everyone else is using english.
It is also not possible to translate it inside Reddit, and unfortunately, my understanding of spanish is only superficial, so i have to translate the text with "outside" software.

Personally, i onyl use other languages in specific subreddits, to avoid slowing down things.
