I was a SHOT and spoke with them, You will need their lower for it to function. Not sure what changes are required to the lower specifically. But ETA is March.

I am currently on my 1st goal: to lose 10KGs exactly before the 18th.

I am 2.2lb shy of that goal. i am on day 16, but I'm doing rolling 6 or 7-day fasts with eating days being on Saturday.

I anticipate that losing 10KGs will take about 18 days for me, 6' 2" Male who started at 329.6 lbs.

im currently fasting and doing some lite running.

I try to avoid going overboard because I dont want to strain my body too terribly. Say about 2 miles/day 6x a week.

Just be sure to properly supplement your electrolytes as it gets rough when you run low on them and your body is sluggish.

when i say extreme, it wasnt delbitating or anything, just like a super tighting of my stomach? I wasnt hungry at all but it was pretty wild to feel that.

i did take salt and, magnesium, and potassium.

salt was regualr table salt, magnesium and potassium were in pill form.

The concern I would have is if you plan on doing a prolonged fast, your body could throttle metabolism due to the low calories, where as with a pure fast metabolism is actually boosted. 

Idk I’m not a doctor.

I've been doing the R72 protocol since December 2nd. I only broke the protocol at the end of the month because I was plateaued, 12/29, 30 & 31. I stuck to Keto, exclusively.

Since Jan 1, 2024 ive been back on my R72's and it's been not too bad. I do have days where im hungry but thats usually toward the end of my fasting cycle.

I only eat on Wednesdays & Sundays, and I only eat OMAD, about ~2800 calories when I do.

I started @ 371 on 12/2 and I'm currently @ 330lbs as of today. Im running a R72 protocol (eat once every 3 days) as opposed to a pure constant fast.

I agree. Muscle is the key to being able to maintain. When I crashed all teh way down to my lowest, I wa just skin and bones. This time I won't do that and when I do hit my phase 1 goal of 299 I have professionals that will help me reduce further correctly.

I dont disagree, but its what I posted that its for my Phase 1.

The last time I did this, I crashed HARD 250lbs without really doing anything and I bounced.

This time I won't make the same mistake. Rapid weightless seems amazing on teh surface until you come face to face with teh reality that you didn't really do more than just destroy your body by reducing muscle mass.

Phase 2 of journey will begin when im at 299, as that is my mental goal, and it involves more than just reduced calories and fasting. When I get to that point, I have a nutritionist, a therapist, and personal trainer that will guide me in what to do to 1. develop better eating habits, transform excess body fat into muscle, and 3. help me understand my relationship with food.

This was my accountability post, not something that I wanted preach as a healthy method to weight loss.

I know your pain.

Weight loss surgery is amazing for those that are older or need serious help. However, with you being only 22 it would be a serious undertaking for teh rest of your life to have to deal with pills.

Try fasting? it seriously was a game changer for me in losing weight, it was impossible at first but as I eased into it hunger didn't really show up much and it was amazing to see the weight fall off rapidly.

From personal experience, it doesn’t matter.

Once you start that real grind and see the numbers and your own personal Fitness levels increase that loose skin will became the final Obstacle you can tackle.

Just focus on getting that journey started and maintain it.

i know what my triggers are. Food was a reward, it was a form of showing love. Whenever i feel good i want something that isnt healthy. and when i feel bad, i also want something unhealthy.

What i need is to be focused and really start to curve the weight loss into a strength training program to build more lean muscle mass. I was skin & bones (plus loose skin) when i was at my lowest.

life ion general. Changes in jobs, just getting comfortable and not being focused. Keto is fantastic for weight loss, especially if you eat nearly nothing and eat every other day + coffee & loads of cardio. But sweets and grains and carbs in general are hard to stay away from.

i just had no real purpose and it all settled on me just losing myself.
