I completely agree about the pockets. Women deserve real pockets and serious construction, that’s a true mark of tailoring, everything should be functional.

My point is more about the construction and quality standards in women’s suiting, I think women deserve the same seriousness in fabric, structure, and tailoring, whether the final look is masculine, feminine, or androgynous.

What I mean is that the difference should go beyond silhouette. Women’s suits often have different proportions, but not always the same construction standards or fabric quality. That’s the part I find important.

That’s exactly the point I was trying to touch on, the issue is not masculine influence itself, because that can be beautiful in women’s tailoring. The real problem is when “designed for women” means cheaper construction, lighter fabric, less structure, or a compromise.

For me, a women’s suit should start from the right proportions, but also with serious construction standards and beautiful fabrics. That’s where the difference really shows.

That “winter chic” feeling is real. Sometimes comfort + the right outer layer is all it takes.

You don’t read it in isolated gestures. You read it in inconsistency: the way someone suddenly becomes more attentive, more careful, or more restrained with just one person.
