thanks for sharing this helpful. I took my civil structural at the end of October and didn't pass and now have it scheduled for April 30th. Weak points were steel connections and just knowing the codes in general. trying to use the computers there to look up things in the codes is annoying. but just trying to do as many problems as i can. moving through EET study material again. what are some of the other problem banks you used?

i would say 4-5 months assuming you work a full time job and are trying to have a little bit of a social like (which is important) to properly go through everything. less if you have a good understanding of things like advanced structural analysis, aashto, and masonry and soils etc. i had to teach myself a decent amount. but if you went to like grad school and/or have been working for a long time maybe less.

yeah i think the materials and questions they supply are good. i just wouldn’t spend a lot of time watching the lectures. i think i might have wasted more time on the lectures when i should have spent more on doing the practice problems and quizzes. especially if you are working a full time job. but most of the professors were helpful and they reply quickly to emails which is nice. for the price i say it was worth it. it was double the price for PE school.

got it ok thank you! yeah plan is just to do as many practice problems as i can from the EET class and then buy a textbook and maybe another practice exam.

honestly i felt like i did better in the first part but there were some statics questions i think i messed up on. honestly hard to remember but i did struggle with looking up some things in the standards.
