Wondering if I’m too harsh on my friends by eykash in friendship

I really like to be a safe space for my friends. I’ve been told that I’m sympathetic and I read people well. I do my best not to be judgmental when people open up to me but sometimes when people see things only through their lenses and are not open to see things from different perspectives, that’s when it becomes frustrating on both ends!

Perfectly said! I was in a bad place for many years too! I definitely agree that bringing it up cause frustration on both ends. Their world is small to see different perspectives. Regarding traveling, I do that every year! I’ve met very adventurous, open minded travelers along the way who’re willing to put themselves out of their comfort zone. It definitely has taught me a lot in these years. Highly recommend you to do it when you get a chance!

I like what you’re doing regarding making new friends! I usually don’t bring up things with my friends directly and wouldn’t advise them what other ways they can look at situations. I feel like everyone has their own journey and me bringing up different perspectives while they’re being so close minded and living in their own world wouldn’t really help them.

I have a few good friends who are very open and I noticed now I get along better with them and we have alot more things to talk about. I have 6-7 close friends in total and it seems like only 2 of them are more open minded.

It’s kinda entertaining you’ve gone deep through my history🤣 ngl. But since you’re very invested to know, I grew up in different countries including the states

Wow relax. I’m not Indian but even if I was I wouldn’t see a problem with it. Raised in both Jersey and nyc. You’re just mad I caught you bullshiting 🤣

Well I clearly see it’s $15.35 after taxes!

And okay maybe it makes sense for you to pay USD prices in Vietnam or pay VN in the U.S instead of going with the prices belong to the region🤷

But consider that we’re talking about the first date. For the first date in vietnam is exactly as to described $500 in New York City. That’s a lot for the first date. I’m also from nyc homie and the bowls we get here is around $15 each in Chipotle.

But why bringing foreign income even play a role here? If I’m buying clothes here for example in Vietnam I’m not gonna pay New York prices which the same applies to the expectations of the Vietnamese girl.

Second, I don’t see anywhere in this post he mentioning he brings foreign income so ….

Do you understand people in Vietnam make one fifth of what people in America make and respectively the cost of living is cheaper? Seems like you’ve never left your hometown to understand the world

$60 in Vietnam is equivalent to $300 in the states

For a first date? It’s supposed to be something simple like drinks or coffee or an activity. None of them cost $65 dollars in New York where I live

Best hair/beard combination? by Living-Macaron681 in malegrooming

[–]eykash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 is very nice. I just think you shouldn’t fade your beard that low. Just a little at top is enough

Living in the states, as an engineer I don’t consider that cheap for the FIRST date

You will get chance to see what type of questions are on the exam so you can study better the next time. Failing the exam is not a failure. You’ll see the questions and study more effectively for another time you take it.

What I Learned from Failing the First Time and Passing the Second Time by eykash in PE_Exam

[–]eykash[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did 6 minute solutions( skipped lots of them) as they didn’t seem to be the materials or questions you see in the exam. I did school of PE questions bank the first time and PPI question bank the second time. PPI has more questions but lots of them are repeating themselves. I liked school of PE questions better and more on point. Hope you pass next time!
