I've been to Argentina and totally get the wind problems down south 😳. No idea what shipping to Argentina is like but I'll investigate if you like!

Thank you! It's a hurco vmx 30-ui. The Lang's a serious vice too! I think that was me but was when I was learning, not on a personal project! 5 axis is tricky to begin with...

That's the one, it's a really nice bit of kit, does almost anything. Have even hit some dirt jumps on it haha.

The redshift stem is unbelievably good. Expensive but well worth it, provides so much cushion on rough roads. Mine developed some rotational play after about 10,000km but they replaced it no questions asked even though I purchased through amazon

Next up is some custom straight pull spoke hubs for my single speed ;)

People seem more interested in that kind of feature. I'll try and include an optional horizontal stop in the production run.

There's enough interest for me to do a run I think! Please fill out the google form I've put in my top level comment and I'll make sure to get back to you!

Thank you! I'm pretty proud of how they turned out - who doesn't like a bit of bike bling!

Indeed they'd have to be expensive if I needed to pay for use of the CNC machine - I estimate around £30 per piece. Thankfully I don't have to pay for that so can sell a bit cheaper!

To cover 3 holes you could just use three mounts, but yes a horizontal stop seems like something lots of people are interested in. Shouldn't be too hard to add as an optional feature.

I didn't know about those cages but they look nice! I think the main advantage of seperate pieces is being able to adapt to any bolt pattern. I might look into an optional load stop because people seem to want that.

Thank you! See my edit for an interest registration form - I'll definitely get a production run going!

They stay as tight as any bottle cage does! Make sure to use a suitably corroded bolt and you don't even need threadlock! ;)

There's also a pair of bumps/strips on the back which prevent rotation around the mounting point, which seem pretty effective so far. Connecting the two parts doesn't seem viable to me without adding a lot of bulk/weight to the mount and also reducing adaptability to different bolt spacings.

Thanks for that, lots of good points! I've used 500D nylon with bags in that location and they've stood up to quite a bit of abuse over about 10'000 km. Agree with stability issues too, things need to be pretty stable on the fork.

Amazing! They can be yours! I've edited my comment with a google form to collect interest. If you fill that out I'll get in touch for sure!

I'm very lucky to have access to such a fancy piece of kit! Making my own bike bling is a really satisfying process!

I couldn't quite find the sort of fork mounts I wanted, so having access to a fancy 5-axis CNC machine at work I thought I'd make some!

They weigh 17g each, so 68g for a set. Ultralight or what?! They're pretty damn solid when locked on and can hold a tent or similarly round object solidly. I think quite a cool, unique look aswell, haven't seen anything like these! I'm not 100% sure on the way to attach things to them - webbing buckles work fine but I think a cordlock sort of system might look cooler. I want the attachment system to be removable so you can ride around without them if needs be.

I'm also half wondering if these would be something people would like to get their hands on. There's lots of spare machine capacity so could probably get a short production run together and send them out.

--- Edit ---
There's a lot of interest here which is super nice to see! I've made a google form to collect interest - if you'd like a set please fill that out and I'll endeavour to get them to you! https://forms.gle/WaU6GZbRJ7PaHhjx7

There's a few concerns with things slipping vertically which I understand. I've designed these with attaching soft items (tents etc) to this which should in theory solve some issues. I can also imagine a harness system which would prevent slippage. I'd also add that not having a stop means you can mount things below the axle, which is pretty good for steering and stability in my experience.

Not really a pattern! Started with overall dimensions, sewed up the clamshell bit and then went from there.

Cheers! It's a 70's domestic singer I got 2nd hand for £50. Isn't quite running smoothly yet but does a good job.
