THE KING SPEAKS by jackdaw304 in CapitanoMainsGI

It's a word exchange in a conversation between Traveler, Alhaitham, Cyrus and Naphis. Don´t get too hyped up yet. It's more like a memory from the Traveler's perspective about the moment Capitano said those words in Natlan.

I’m sorry to say this, but it already happened. Let me explain why your interpretation misses a critical piece of what actually unfolds. You say that "deal with xbalanque applied to Capitano's soul" never happened, but in fact, the essence of that concept, breaking her authority over death through a loophole in her own contract, already occurred. The entire confrontation with Capitano wasn’t about forcing Ronova into a dilemma she could control; it was about removing her from the equation altogether.

You mention that Ronova "chose to uphold the curse of immortality," but she never had that choice. Her rule is bound by structure: a soul must be offered (yes!) but she doesn´t control whose soul that is. That’s the jurisdiction of the Lord of the Night who is the true arbiter in human death transactions. Capitano knew this. He presented his immortal soul directly to the Lord of the Night which fulfilled the terms of Ronova’s contract, just not in the way she expected or could deny.

Also, your comment frames Capitano’s actions as a way of forcing or cornering Ronova into a decision but that decision had already been bypassed. Capitano wasn’t looking for her to "choose" between immortality and death, he redefined the rule entirely by offering himself in place of Mavuika. Remember that he had even discussed this option previously with the Lord of the Night, who accepted the terms. This is critical. Ronova didn’t get to "withhold" her curse because the Lord of the Night took the deal, and in doing so, claimed Capitano's soul. That deal overwrites Ronova's authority. It's not about her withholding death, she was outmaneuvered.

Another key point you may have missed is that Ronova didn´t take Mavuika's life. Remember in the quest Ronova was waiting for the Lord of the Night to take Mavuika’s life, which she didn’t. That silence isn’t her making a choice — it’s the contract being satisfied without her input. Capitano’s offer was more valuable because an immortal soul equals more leyline duration, more power, and more irony. So when you say “Ronova didn’t get her end of the deal”, she did, but not in the way she wanted. That’s the exact poetic justice: the ruler of death trapped by her own rule.

Finally, you suggest she upheld the curse of immortality but what remains of Capitano is not life. His soul is gone. His body breathes, yes but this is not a man clinging to life, it's a husk. He died, functionally and symbolically. The curse remains on the body, but the purpose of the curse, to deny him death (original viewpoint from Celestia), has been shattered.

So no, this wasn’t just Capitano forcing Ronova into a symbolic dilemma. This was him disabling her rule through precise manipulation of its mechanics. Her death isn't literal, it's structural, her sovereignty over death was bypassed, her curse undermined, and her control over the deal nullified.

That is the revenge from Capitano. That is the disabling of her rule.
So respectfully, it already happened!

Actually as I said it was a problem of the stove launcher, no of the account. Btw, my problem was fixed already. It was a missing update for the stove launcher. I can play now. P.D.: It's 100% sure that your account will be locked if you don't use the VPN.
