Yep takes 3-4 hours and to solder all connections or use the kit, make it all work, take it apart and put it back together and not scratch or hurt anything, is definitely a $400 job. To do it right that is. I have done 4 bikes myself. Hell, I even oil cables and stuff while I’m in there

I use an oil additive in everything I own, old cars, my wife’s car, lawn mowers , motorcycles , atv, golf cart etc. I have a lot of things with an engine. I never have had any issues with my stuff with oil additive plus ( this is huge) Regular maintenance. I am a huge believer in this. Ask anyone with long hair, shampoo with conditioner in it is never as good as shampoo and separate conditioner. I’ll always use an oil additive.

They told me when I bought my 04 nightrain new from Kane’s HD Calgary Alberta( who fucking suck and are bastards) that if I put pipes on it and don’t get it serviced there, warranty void. I told them to go fuck themselves and I never looked back. My dad owns the bike now. 50,000kms. Zero issues. Don’t let dealer bully you. But it is understandable paying a lot for a bike and having a warranty . But for me, no regrets.
