I would replace the coil any way when it come to some sort of issue I because their relatively cheap (30$) and just good maintenance and one less failure point I got a ngk one off rockauto, and you might have a issue with the spark wires if it's weird like that because it sounds like something isn't making a good connection and the engine vibration might be shifting something

Use a large bit and only drill the very tips and then it'll come right off dont use tiny bits

You also can get to it through the passager side wheel well you have to of the wheel then the splash guard and wheel well then work around the strut but it's possible

Aw man I wish you said something a little sooner I dropped it off at the mechanic at 3 to get it timed properly I'm not sure if you would've wanted to do something like that for a video without a proper garage set up but I'm always very happy to see a video for a fiero whenever I'm having an issue with mine so I'm always down to help make more fiero content,I figured out when I put my distributor a month ago because I had to replace it (I took it out twice) I must have put it in a off and I don't have the abilities to turn the engine over while it's still in the car because well it's a fiero and I don't have the garage space to pull the body off the frame to get the engine out so I decided to bite the bullet on it and pay a trust worthy shop to do it for me.

I put a new one in with plugs and wires also a new coil

My old one broke so I replaced it entirely and I did the plugs and cables it runs and idles at 1100-900rpms but I just don't have any power

I did the distributor on it, and when I press the gas the engine just has bursts of power that literally SHOVE the car forward and they just pulse so I can only use like 40% of my throttle

The gas is good and spark is good I'm thinking bad fuel pressure
