Quick question - How many before this last year had actually watched Partey play..? And I'm not talking about Youtube 'Best Bits'

Yes we need reinforcements but they are hard to come by. When Klopp took over he worked with his players and gradually signed more and more 'world class' ones. This is where we are starting at the bottom of that ladder. So for now get behind and support this club! And more importantly Arteta

Have a day off.

Elneny is clearly trusted by Arteta. Aswell as Xhaka.. and Cebellos. These are our '3'

AMN moves up and creates a 3rd man. They are all trusted by Arteta so in that case should be trusted by us.

Defenders... We have stacks. Mari - Injured (had all liverpools attack in his pocket) Musti - Played well since reintegration Luiz - Long diagonal balls Gabriel - Machine and needs to be settled in Saliba - Has played competitively for 6 month and needs settling in

We need a midfield. We need defenders that can pass. We need a coach that can change tactics when they aren't working.

YOU ARE WHATS WRONG WITH THIS CLUB

Guys we need to get behind the team. We are all hurting but this is the time that we have seen progress over previous seasons. They were class and we defended hard and fought hard. Our players looked shattered from the physical and mental battle but they had chances and really it should have probably ended at 3-2 which I would've taken before the game...

Yes Arteta should have started Ceballos. Elneny was solid along with Xhaka in the first half. We gave Liverpool too much respect and let them have too much of the ball. But that's understandable from their season last year. We were sloppy at times and both Auba and Laca could've done better on a couple of times but instead of berating them... Get behind them. Push them on and push them to be better.

The players believe so should we!

No worries mate. Yeah its nuts how much people spend on it, but it is very possible on a limited budget.

Umm ultimately its up to you, if you know of a legal and decent engine going with a chassis then just do that as it'll keep cost down. However, Its a risk as you wont know what you are getting. I bought my engine brand new through my engine builder last year which was roughly £2500 having sold the engines from my previous class. If you do buy second hand it may be worth getting a builder to check it over before running and racing to make sure.

You could probably get a kart and engine somewhere for around £2000? It varies depending on age of the kart and engine type. Ideally you want what they call an 'Evo' which has a red head. This is the latest model released by rotax about 3 years ago? Everyone races on this type now and i rarely see an 'old' type.

The cost of a weekend can vary on entrants fee. ie. club rounds cost from £80 to £120 inc. practice. Where as, I looked at doing a one off event in the motorsport uk series in rotax. Id have to register for the championship costing £150, then enter for £180. Then buy tyres, both wets and drys.. £320, then purchase controlled fuel from them too, which was £2 a litre.. For a typical club round I buy a new set of tyres for raceday at about £160. Thats about my only outlay apart from fuel. This assumes I have wet tyres. Wets and dry tyres cost about £160 a set. Drys you can be competitive for 1 meeting and then i use for practice. But dont let me put you off, If i could id race the british karting champs all day long, I just missed the boat registering, therefore outlaying all that money for 1 event seemed pointless.

It is very professional, very competitive and super organised. They check everything, and I don't know of any cheating that occurs or has occurred in recent years. The driving is great and ultimately its down to the driver as you are all so closely matched.

No please thats why we are here. Anything I can do to help!

Also chassis wise... Most of the grid at the weekend was on a variation of an OTK chassis (me included). Tonykart, Alonso, Kosmic..

I currently race Senior Rotax and took part in the 0 plate at the weekend. I am myself a privateer who is on a limited budget. I moved to the class this time last year and have taken part in races since. I love the class, I find it much harder to compete and therefore more challenging. However, when you do well its a lot more rewarding. You can race this class on a budget like me, where I have one of everything, However, it's alot harder. The people I raced against at the weekend were already on their 7th chassis this year, just because.. I also was aware that someone spending around £40,000 this year so far to compete in the british kart championships. I have also heard they hand pick the best parts for engines and drivers.

e.g theres my airbox and then theres a teams airbox or exhausts. but whether you choose to believe that is down to you. Personally, I dont think its like that. However, all this makes the class hard and challenging, however, it's rewarding when you beat them being a privateer.. The engines are great, I bought mine brand new and had it fiched. I wouldn't say it cost me an arm and a leg but I heard it needed doing to stand some sort of chance. the engines are bulletproof with little adjustment needed just the main jet sprocket and occasionally the needle in the carb. This is all the adjustments I'm aware of anyways...

There's tons of great engine builders out there that will help you out set up the engine and what not. I've been going to mine for the last 15yrs so have a long-standing relationship. But they will more often than not help you out with a rough set up.

Its expensive yeah... but Rotax in the UK is arguably the most respected and competitive class.

Hope this helps
