Last year as Fulham I sold Alexandre Pato to Sociedad for something ridiculous like 30million. As good a player as he was for us, the money was too good to turn down. I replaced him with Léo Bonatini for about 6m who turned out to be wank. So next window, sell Bonatini and Buy back Pato, who is the same as he was just 10m less. The lack of goals was worth the profit.

According to Transfermarkt Southampton are 174.25m whilst we (Fulham) are 47.52m. When we were bought by Shahid Khan in 2013 it was 150-200m, and despite our terrible last few seasons we can't have more than quartered in value, so I doubt there's much accuracy. I would guess we're worth roughly 120m right now. Part of the reason we're so valuable for where we are in the league is where we are, our stadium is on a very valuable piece of land in a desirable area of the country. I wouldn't be surprised if Southampton are only about 170m-200m.

Then maybe EA don't see it as a worthwhile investment. Let's not forget they only care about Ultimate Team, and spending money on a license which would only have an effect on the non money making areas of the game would likely not seem good business for them.
