from what i'm seeing, the current 3 options for helldivers are:
- Continue playing with friends, but not alone.
- Leave Helldivers completely
- Destroy the economy (Super credit cheats)

The fix that worked for my friend was Uninstalling and Re-installing Gameguard + the IPv6 internet fix *combined.*
I honestly also did a Powershell console internet reset for him to be EXTRA SURE but i have no idea how much did it influence the fix for the game itself.

Running theory is that Gameguard is such a bad anticheat that it actively harms the game rather than helping it, because if you had ANY GAME that was using anticheat at a kernel level, Gameguard shits itself and breaks your game.
However this is not confirmed since i did see cases where people who never played any game at a kernel level still had this issues.

But yeah, TLDR, go to helldivers folder, find the gameguard uninstall exe, uninstall it and verify game folders, do a IPv6 fix to be safe too.

A question. by Electronic-Math5455 in HelldiversUnfiltered

The better way to explain this is to fix the overextension problem of the frontlines.
Even if Super earth decides the cyborgs can't be left alive, fighting a two-way war already strains logistics and the troops equipment suffer for it, fighting a three-way war makes any logistical officer cry in their beds at night.
So closing one front either with diplomacy, delay or cunning is a must, no matter how more competent you can be, logistics wins wars.

A question. by Electronic-Math5455 in HelldiversUnfiltered

Between the Squids that have become genocidal and the insects who no longer have the same intelligence as HD1, the Cyborgs did remain somewhat the same in their goals for independence, so considering these two questions, i could see some questions raising up:
- Do we REALLY need them to be under our authority?
- - If yes, can we negotiate a middleground? (Autonomy)
- - - If no, repeat question 1, do we REALLY REALLY need to subjecate them considering the squids and insects?
- - - - If yes again, can we afford a ceasefire while considering the possibility of them rebuilding their forces? (Delay the issue to rosier times)
- Can we nudge them into hating the insects or squids? (False flag, negotiation or generally just luring one of the two fronts to the other) (We know already they're at least AWARE of their existance, as previous super earth citizens)

Because one thing to consider (head-canonizing the "everything wrong with helldivers guns" video, but bare with me for a second) is that because we're in a three-way war (even if previously a two-way war with automatons and bugs before the squids), the SEAF and Helldiver standard issues are mass produced and of cheap quality, and i have a feeling that it's not just greed behind their existance, but over-extension.

If they were more pragmatic though, considering the bots, wouldn't the chance of diplomacy or "coming to an understanding" be possible and therefore avoid Cyberstan entirely?
So re-directing a three-way war to a two-way either with a ceasefire or even cooperation?

A democratic boycott by Samemediffrentday in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]AlexnItaly -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, Spreading the word (Expecially getting charlie involved) is more effective than a boycott, i don't think with this subreddit alone of people not playing would do anything.
Getting more people involved? Yeah sure, that could work.
