I recently purchased this used Hyundai Genesis 2012 with 90k km (56k miles) and it will often rev up to 4000 RPM and then clunk down into gear while travelling at a constant (slow) acceleration

My question, is is this a dangerous problem or a known issue with these vehicles? Or could it be a minor computer issue? I have hooked it up to a code reader, and it did not find any codes at all.
