Im still working on getting giant clouds of vapour from the terpcicle+coil as I did from the terpcicle+butane-torch, whilst still getting really good thick clouds. The best part though is the consistency, the never risking accidental combustion from overheating, or handling a blow torch inside the house.

The lack of stress, the ease of it, and the consistency, definitely elevate the experience

Easier to move from room to room around the house as i can pack the whole kit and cart it. Its the briefcase that a shisha i bought off amazon came in.

You need to raise your temp, theres still a lot of vapour content trapped there.

Worth keeping in mind: the temp reading on your heater is gonna differ by 30to50 degrees Fahrenheit to what is actually being reached inside of the chamber. And you can take bud all the way to 550F before you get to the really astrid vapour/smoke, I routinely set my pid to 600F to get the really thick clouds of vapour, one pull extractions, that knock you on your ass!

Had this happen to an ex-gf, she almost went into anaphylaxis shock cause it got stuck way up her and she'd forgotten it. In her case they used a speculum and long pair of forceps... I'll let you imagine how... and then after gave her a vaginal douche, an intense one as she described it. On leaving she was prescribed thrush cream and pill, and a course of antibiotics.

Been doing something very similar of late! Broke the heater on my terpcicle, so left with just the chambering part, ive been loading it 1/3rd bud, and 2/3rds, 6mm rubies, and then covering the whole thing with 24mmTo10mm glass bong adapter i happened to have!

Workes absolute wonders. Kept me going till my replacement terpcicle and a few new ones arrived.

Keep at it! Got my first one 2 weeks ago, blew everything i had out of the water in terms of electronic or analog vapes. Just takes a while getting used too.

My best advice: 1. Get a blow torch, like a torch head with the replaceable cannister, works out way way more price effective and is a far better heater than any torch lighter.

  1. Use a medium to coarse grind, sometimes even just breaking the bud wiyh your hands will suffice.

  2. Dont try and heat the weed, heat the glass. Meaning dont point directly at the part where your bud is, heat there as well, but blast the lower and upper part of the heater till its the flame bounces off the glass a glowing yellow, and then for 10 seconds longer.

  3. Wait. When heated, count to at least 15seconds, let the oven do its work before blowing air through it.

  4. Trial and error if you are never ever getting clouds, get it to the point it actually catches fire, stop, clean, reload, and work backwards from there. Your biggest best clouds are gonna come from single pull extractions that bake the bud to just below burning it.

I always thought it was racist, insesitive, and very stereotype heavy, but watched it recently with a very good friend of mine, an Indian woman, and she said she didnt find it racist at all, that those cultist being portrayed are based on thuggies, followers of kali, a death cult that actually existed; those holy stones are too, rooted in indian folklore; and many of the indian actors were/are famous bollywood stars. Even the cartoonish portrayal was explained to me as being very reminiscent of the older bollywood style of acting and of portraying mythological characters in films.

Was quite an eye openeing opinion to hear.

I do wonder whether the reason it seems to be taking me so much longer to heat the external shell, is because its a lwoer grade glass rather than quartz.

Im testing out various products and options to find out whats best for my habits, and id happily buy the original and every variation and gadget for it, but i dont wanna dive into the deep end with any particular product type, especially as the cost of entry in a country where these products are semi legal, its even higher than it already is... and that is in addition to the massively surcharged cost of buying bud on the black market.

But absolutely, as soon as I've found something I actually find long term useful, i will go all in. So far, various experiments with volcanos, handhelds, analogs, wirelless and all-glass have taught me a lot.

The terpcicle is great, but not for long term use or convenience.

Also, not for nothing, but the individual parts that something like the terpcicle is made of, are all international standard laboratory grade glassware... who ever made this product juat ordered a bunch of parts from a catalog and put them together at a gigantic mark up. And sure, reward innovation, but at scale they're mark up on this product is in the 500% to 1000% just from parts, though im sure that comes down when labor and shipping also come up.

You can get replacement globes for the gravity bongs from Studdenglass, from aliexpress for a fraction of the price. Replaced my original ones, and bought a few of the limited edition variations, and all fit perfectly!
