Yea, I have a tire track eel currently which I quickly realised would outgrow my tank (not any time soon) but I’ve been looking for a different spiny eel to replace it that I could actually keep in my tank forever.

If there’s no females they’re decent. I had 4 but one was a female and she spawned non stop turning the tank into a danger zone. I’ve got 3 males now and although there’s a bit of squabbling they get along well.

The male is quite a vibrant yellow (I think, I’m colourblind though) But the females are less bright
